FIFA 13 - What would you rate our players for it?

edited June 2012 in General Charlton
Our team is always under-rated from what we think it should be, so baring that in mind, this is what I'm guessing:

Ben Hamer 68
John Sullivan 60
Nick Pope 50
-
Chris Solly 70
Michael Morrison 70
Leon Cort 67
Rhoys Wiggins 67
Matt Taylor 64
Cedric Evina 60
Yado Mambo 55
-
Scott Wagstaff 68
Danny Hollands 69
Dale Stephens 66
Johnnie Jackson 70
Andy Hughes 62
Bradley Pritchard 64
Ruben Bover 60
Danny Green 67
-
Bradley Wright-Phillips 70
Yann Kermorgant 72
Danny Haynes 68
Michael Smith 54
Paul Hayes (if he's still with us) 63

  • Think we'll be mostly 'silver' players. Doubt many players will be lower than they were in FIFA 12 considering we won the league.

    Leon Clake 67
  • When is it out?
  • Not til the end of September.
  • I'd like to be able to keep the Hollands/ Stephens axis for longer, so would love for them to start out at 70. Found it odd this year that BWP stuck at 68 for 5 years, yet bossed it in every division (and Europe!!).

    This
  • Bover will be about 58/59
  • If it's THIS (incidentally, the most irritating forum posts known to man), then start your own thread!!
  • Yann's heading better be around 99, or else....

There is no way in hell any of our players will be 75 or above, as that would make them a gold player in ultimate team, and usually theres about 5-6 players in the whole championship who are gold! We will be mid championship rated, about 10th-14th in overall stats
  • Who is Leon Clake?
  • Also I can't see how Fifa could down grade any of our players when we won the league with 101 points. They would all rise or stay about the same if they didn't play.

    It's a piece of Clake.

  • Literally always underrated on Football Manager as well , I reckon worse than Fifa , anyone else find it incredibly hard to do well with us or is that my lack of FM talent

have managed to get charlton into the prem eventually, but yes our players especially hollands and jacko are very underated
  • No matter what we all know, there is little chance they will have Yann Kermorgant's stats ahead of Bradley Wright-Phillips.

For a start, I've never found it to be the sort of game where ariel attacking seems to come into play too much.

Seeing as Yann is our best player he will be our best player in the next FM (assuming he stays and excluding any new signings of course)...

How well he and BWP do in the match engine is an issue with the game itself. Hopefully there will be some improvements in the next version in that area.

On us being underrated, the ratings probably look harsh compared to games like FIFA, but it's about how they perform in the game. It was definitely possible for BWP to score 20+ a season for example.

Other thing to remember with FM 12 we signed nearly 20 players last summer. They were all rated by the researcher of their previous club, so they won't all 'fit' perfectly with each other.

They are aware that Norwich and Southampton in particular have shown there isn't a huge gap between the divisions. I don't think many will be disappointed with our new ratings.
  • I dont think BWP wont be much more higher, maybe 69/70 overall, But Kermorgants heading Accuracy should be between 82/87 and jumping 84/89.

I'm expecting Yann to have 20 jumping stat Scoham :) I'm sure you'll get the ratings spot on, you almost always do.
