Part-time disability co-ordinator
Charlton Athletic Football Club is seeking to appoint a part-time disability co-ordinator to liaise with its disabled supporters. This new role will be based in the commercial centre team at The Valley, Floyd Road, SE7, 15 hours a week (flexible) plus six hours on up to 26 first-team matchdays during the year.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing sale of match tickets to disabled supporters, as well as allocation of disabled parking and working with the Charlton Athletic Disabled Supporters' Association and others to ensure the club provides the best possible service to disabled supporters and also meets its legal obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act. Prior experience of working with disabled people and knowledge of the issues involved would be an advantage, while basic computer literacy, good inter-personal skills and a positive attitude are required. Salary will be £7,200 per annum.
