    He plays for Zimbabwe now,
He's a top man like Chrissy Powell.
  • There are a few interviews we did with him on the club site, the best his Bradley with Cedric Evina discussing the fact they room together on away trips, a smashing lad, really likeable.
Any chance of a link Peter
  • what a story, he really looks like he is living the dream
  • Was chatting with a guy last week who went to uni with Brad and still good mates (Bola if you happen to be reading this Bradley). He echoed everything said about the man, couldnt get a nicer bloke and apparently Brad was also a cracking hockey player. Such a lucky break through CAFC but took the chance and for me is exactly the kind of player we need throughout the squad. Hope he gets a good run at it next season
  • Remember the vote on whose shirt to sponsor- Taylor or Pritchard? Pritchard lost.

Hang your heads in shame CL. : - )

Just remember BP next time you read about us being linked with a non-league or even league 1 or 2 player. Its the ability not the level they are currently at that counts.

  • Good article. Hope he does well next season, he comes over as a really nice lad.
  • It proves to some extent at least that footballers are no different from any other work colleagues - they have to want to be part of a successful team. Powell like Curbs puts a premium on that and it works. Old codger shutting up now!

If I remember correctly it was a close run thing - didn't we have to have a re-count?
  • What a great story.

It seems clear that Chris liked him for being the person he is as well a decent footballer. This all bodes very well for the future imho.

  • Taylor had a decent season too
  • Ali, you are right it was very close but that is less of a story.

"Pritchard snubbed by fans" is better.

Only joking. Met him at Bromley meeting. Him and taylor (also a ex-non league player and graduate) were both great guys.
  • Love him.

  • pritch worked his way into my current top 5 cafc players.
he really reminds me of keith jones! tenacious, positive, and engine midfielder. anybody know if he has been offered another contract/year ???

    This!

Pritchard is a compact, busy sort of midfielder, reminded me of Jones when I first saw him. Sure it was said that the club were going to give him a new deal as he was only on relatively basic terms.

There have been many success stories this season, but Pritch's is one of the most pleasing.
  • What a great story. really like him as a player: very busy and looking for the ball. Real feel good factor to his story and he epitomises the qualities that SCP wants and spots.
  • The way he talks in the interview, he must know he is getting another contract.
  • I genuinely love the bloke, as a person (not necessarily as a player) he is my absolute favourite since I don't know when, he just seems so genuine and appreciative of what he has and what he has achieved. The other players at current seem very nice too of course, it's just that personal story that makes him my personal fave.
  • I met Pritchard after the Wycombe game (the one we confirmed the title) and complemented him on his game (which he played very well) but he was very gracious in accepting.
Defiantly a great guy and lovely chat with him. There was also this older guy with him who seemed very happy for Pritchard to recognised. Not sure if he was his agent or a representative of the Zimbabwe football team for the call-up

Same as me - in The Millenium, very gracious on accepting congrat's for his performance and posed for a pic with the little ' uns - really nice bloke (reckon the older bloke was an agent)

  • Admitedly I only was out of country until March last season so only saw games from Bournemouth away onwards, but based on their end of season form I'd rate Pritchard higher than Hollands and Stephens. The lad seems to have great energy, his movement off the ball is very good and I think he plays with a certain intelligence that means he doesn't waste possession as much as someone like Stephens sometimes does and also doesn't dive into tackles when it's not warranted but is still pretty tenacious. He is a little light weight but it didn't seem to effect him much last season and i think he has a big role to play next year as we look better balanced with him plus one of Hollands or Stephens rather than both those two. The new Keith Jones but with more attacking adventure.
  • I think his all round game has improved so much it is unbelievable! I remember watching play a few matches and watching him just get rid of the ball ASAP. Now he appears to be so assured on the ball and is so effective at breaking the oppositions play up.
On top of that, I have never seen a player smile so much and all of the time as well!
    Top bloke

  • Bradley P lee pee
    He's taller than Chris Solly
    And brighter than John Terry
    Cos he's got a degree.
  • Great bloke, remember Reading at home in the carling cup, his debut, had a great game, saw him afterwards and just had a casual chat like we were mates.

Love the article and quite a special story.

His best game was Sheff wed away he was awesome that day.

  • Kid seems to have real heart and tries to play proper football :) its a credit to SCP that he spotted the talent it must be said. I personally think he'll make the step-up to Championship next year, and look forward to seeing him play next year :)

    MOVE OVER LENNON & McCARTNEY!

  • Hmm Kermorgant, Pritchard or may name on the back of my shirt next year? Decisions, decisions......
  • This is potential not certainty, but If you asked me to pick 5 of ours who could make it to the premier league, I'd have Hamer, Solly, Morro, Wiggins and Pritchard.
  • One of my highlights of the season when he hugged the pitch invader, said everything about this group of players and how much things have changed recently. Great player with real potential, we looked a better team with him in it.
