West Ham will need to spend big. Only four or five of that lot good enough for PL.
Think you're being generous.
Sullivan has said that promotion will cost them automatically £14m in bonuses then there are auto salary increases. Madness before its even sorted.
Green, Noble, Cole, Vaz Te, Nolan.
Rob Green is a footballing punchline. He's 32 years old and not good enough as a Premier League keeper. The fact he's in the England squad says terrible, terrible things about our talent pool. I've always thought Noble was an overrated player as well. If he wasn't a youth product I don't think he'd be near the team.
Was in the Blackpool end, good decision to go in the end was a good day out and my first trip to wembley! Blackpool fans were very welcoming and said they looked forward to visiting the valley next season.

Good set of supporters, Blackpool, I was at Wembley for their play off victory against Yeovil from league one a few years back. Not totally fully of themselves and love their football.
I thought they played some really nice passing football, but didn't have their shooting boots on. West Ham looked the stronger team physically. A typical Sam Allardice type of team. Funny that WHU usually pride themselves on their attractive passing type of play, but as Sam Allardice observed where has that got West Ham. Blackpool had the stand out individuals, overall, man for man, West Ham were the stronger team with better overall quality.
I wanted Blackpool to win but you can't begrudge West Ham the victory, they were third, 11 points ahead and a better goal difference of 13 having scored 23 more goals in the league.
The silver lining is that I read somewhere on CL that their parachute payments are shared out amongst the remaining championship clubs, and a strong team will be taken out of the champs for next year. Blackpool, with their good passing game, will be good games to watch and hopefully the away fixture will fall in the warmer part of the season for an additional good night out for the away support.
If Sullivan has any sense he'll sign up Olly in the bar afterwards. Should have been England manager. When 2nd goal went in defenders stepped up to halfway line. CP take note.
I couldn't help comparing West Ham's defence with ours. No comparrison at all I'm glad to say - a good sign for next season. Blackpool lost that because they didn't have their shooting boots on - a bad day at teh office for their forwards (except Ince who was impressive).
I was at the game as Pool are my second team. If Blackpool had taken their chances there would be a victory parade on the golden mile today. Wet spam in fairness took the chances they had but if the Pool strikers had been on song it would have been game over at half time. Some spammers sneaked into the Blackpool section too and caused a bit of an incident which police and stewards failed to deal with effectively which was disappointing. If Blackpool can keep the nucleus of that side they will be there or thereabouts next season, hopefully we will be too!

Weekend in Blackpool and Sam Baldock make it OK.
Come on Bayern
Felt that one of the commentators was fairly biaised ... way too many statements that apparently Blackpool were the lucky ones

And increases our chances of being Champions
