The tuesday dilemma: tyre pressures

My car has tyre pressures indicated on the arch inside the drivers door (honda crv) should i follow these 30/32 depending on load or what the tyres, or mechanics say? 35

    I work in the trade and we inflate everything regardless of make model to 30 psi. There is not a great deal of difference between 30 and 35.

    I'd stick to your owners manual.

  • They look and feel a little flat tho :)
  • Probably only on the bottom though. Have a look at the top of the tyre, I bet it's not flat
  • I always go by the data plate on the car not what is on the tyres
  • Tough one do you follow the car company that have spent millions and millions on time and research into the correct set up or the fellow out the garage that was trained on the job with no qualifications

    Never mind what Honda and your mechanic say, what do the tyre manufacturers recommend?

  • fwiw mine was at 9psi this morning and drove like a dog

    It did however have a bloody great big nail in it
