Who are we getting?





















Apologies if this has been discussed, I can't be bothered trawling through all the posts. If you don't like the fact that I've asked about something that has already been dealt with then...................tough shit!

    Are we certain KRBS are out of the picture ? If they are and we will be getting new shirt sponsors are the rumours posted on here about O2 ans Les Bordes purely speculation or based in some genuine albeit not final information. Unlike some I doubt the Nike deal tells us very much but the next deal will give us a very decent clue to our ambitions and status going forward or am I completely wrong about that.

    Exactly what I heard but subject to who comes down - I also got confirmation that the shirt sponsors are not KRBS

    My inside source has also confirmed that KRBS are not going to be next seasons sponsors.

    Viglen,Mesh, Redbus, Llanera, KRBS..................never heard of any of these before they sponsored us. I now know of these companies.

    Of those only Llenera I think. Viglin are still around and part of the Amstrad empire. Mesh got taken over I think.

    Can't remember what happened to Redbus

    all:sports went under and the Woolwich is now Barclays.

    The whole point is that everyone seems to be more focused on the prestige of the sponsor. If a "major" brand name like O2 offer 500k and some company we've never heard of offers more then the latter deal is the one the club would pick (and rightly so).

    Same as everyone wetting themselves over a drab polo shirt just because it's got a tick on it.............................

    Spot on although there is also the image of the other brand and what possible links there might be.

    Sponsors come and go. They're only in it for the short term publicity not the long-haul. In fact our first shirt sponsors summed it up perfectly:
