Watching a bloke dressed as a ref squaring up to a bloke dressed as a clown was quite amusing, if a bit surreal. Though truth is, you really can't have a fight with someone when you're dressed as a clown. Just doesn't work.
I heard the whistle quite a few times in open play. Kept looking at the ref to see why he'd blown, only to see the game continuing. F**king annoying...................

Yep and used when defending a corner at the Covered End. Could have easily conceded. What a knob.
Must admit I smirked when the upper north were singing "where were you when we were s**t" to the extra 10,000
Thought that was a bit lame to be fair. We've got many fans (Redmidland to name just one) who live many miles away and can't make it to games but made a huge effort to be there for such a special ocassion. Good on them I say. Up until 2 yrs ago I was living approx 300 miles away from the valley so couldn't attend games, but in my eyes that made me no less of a fan..................
he was an absolute nightmare he just got wasted, won't blame him though has allot of issues at the moment apparently and the two other lads dressed as wrestlers was goading him.

Yep, good way to encourage your ex and potential support to return and I suppose the upper north has been full to bursting at every home game in league one?
There are any number of reasons why people don't go, from simply not wanting to watch League one football to financial/family reasons or others. I've seen moans of 'not enough people there' and then we get a full house...............

What is wrong with League 1 football compared to championship.
I made it up for only my 5th home game of the season and saw no issue with it, I think people need to just lighten up a bit. On another note we sat in the North Upper for the first time and will never be going back to the West ! its like a different world up there.

I just take it with a pinch of salt......I've supported CAFC for 50 years and did my bit up and down the country during the 70's/80s (we were shit then as well mainly).....things then happen which means you cant get to games....wish I did still live nearby so I could attend.....but then who would do the match threads that I reckon some of them chanting must read when they cant get to games!! Oh to be young again!!! See you all next season from my usual first, Xmas and last home games.....match threads for the other 43 games.....sorry guys!

I'll vouch for you there Red, you'll certainly never be young again..........; )

Exactly. I can't make it to every game these days, but hell, if you can't laugh at yourself occasionally. You'll probably find that half the people singing it were the ones that walked out when we were 4 down against Notts County. Banter
Anyone else see the youngish girl at the front of J block? She was absolutely hammered and spent most of the second half lurching up and down the stairs and jumping on random blokes. Thought she was going over the barrier at one point.

The whistle was really annoying. The stewards should have sorted that out. I kept looking to see why the game had stopped and as pointed out, we could have conceded from a corner if the players had stopped.
It's always great to see The Valley full, whatever the price or occasion, but it is a shame crowds dipped to 13,000 v Bury and Colchester. Albeit there were very few visiting fans, but still, with us top you'd like to think even the less fashionable games would attract 15,000 home fans. However, times are very hard and £25 (top price) is a lot for the standard of third division football.
It would be interesting to know how many different people attended games this season. For example, perhaps 20,000 different CAFC fans went to 5-15 games this season
I was at game Saturday and am in the same position as a couple of others I can't get to every game living in Grimsby the train fares are ridiculous wish I could go every game. I had a season ticket along with my dad up until a few years ago when I started working abroad. I have followed charlton since 92 and will never stop.
The Collina ref kid with the whistle was stupid - who things having a whistle at a football match is a good idea? The steward tried to get it off him but gave up.
I purposely waited for tickets to be sold in the south stand so I could get a few seats and see what effect it would have on the rest of the ground acoustically. Most of the support in the South Stand were not totally Charlton fans, so getting them to sing together was quite difficult. If the regular singers from the North upper were to change and use the South stand, then the difference would be much more apparent. Trust me, although it sounds loud when you are in the North Stand, the noise gets somewhat lost when you are listening from the south stand. I think the club would benefit if the regulars where able to buy cheaper season tickets for that end and use part of the west lower for our visitors. The noise collectively would be much better. Just thinking out loud!

Apart from that, that group were pretty funny.
