The Keith Peacock Suite

Fully deserved.

It was the 67th birthday of the Charlton stalwart on Thursday, and the Addicks have announced that a suite lounge at The Valley will now be known as the Keith Peacock Suite.

  • About time too!
  • Classy. Good one.
  • Beers on Keith tomorrow then.......... "yeah, just put it on Mr peacocks tab, he said it's fine".
  • brill - not sure when the 2011/13 season is though!
  • We're half way through it Suzi. Pay attention.............
  • I can still picture Keithie running out of the players tunnel ball juggling all the way to the penalty spot before smashing the ball into the back of the net. What a player and what a man, congratulations Mr Charlton.
  • I'm going to continue to call it the North-West Suite.

Just because a part of the stand is named after a distinguished servant I don't think we should use that name

What next, a new name for the South Stand?
  • That is excellent ... well deserved Keith
  • We're half way through it Suzi. Pay attention.............
If we're only half way, then I'd say, based on the half way results, the full year results next summer will be immense!!!

  • The original KP .. a definite Mr Charlton.
  • Pleased for Keith , he's a top fella.
  • I had the pleasure of being taught tennis by Mr Peacock at Crown Woods in the late 60's early 70's (69/71).....I was so pleased but at that time there were a lot of 'Wall fans at the school and they tried to give him some 'jip'.........I said tried coz they lost!!
Pleased for him a great person and Charlton through and through......I would still call him 'sir'....much respect!!
  • Excellent news!
  • Quite a tribute and well earned.
  • A belated happy birthday to Mr Charlton. If anyone portraide the spirit of Charlton he does, may you have many more of them and at least some of them in the Premiership.
  • Keith is a true Charlton legend. Love 'im.
  • A well deserved tribute to a genuinely nice man.
