Interested to know which moments from each season stood out as fond memories in dark days for you lot. Also, if there are any you feel I've left out...

  • The only fond memory that stands out for me of parkinsons reign was the moment I heard that he had been sacked

Crikey thats a bit harsh - and thats a polite way of putting it that wont result in a post being deleted. You could also argue that he worked miracles without a pot to p1ss in and very nearly promoted us.
  • Oh no... another Parky thread.

My mates pub near Sherborne must have been a highlight... not the game tho where it pissed down.
  • Southend away.
    Leeds home.

    In the Parky era.
  • Parkys v-neck jumpers.
  • Well said DNS.

  • Orient away, beginning of the season Jonjo scored, full of hope right then.
  • Big Mig goal with nine men to equalise.
  • Sarfend Away on that Friday.

Up there with the best that night, Last minute goal and it seemed that everyone was out that night.
  • Sodje V Leeds

The Valley was rocking that day.
  • We've got two Sodjes!

Also Charlton 5 - MK Dons 1, I thought we were going places then!
  • Smashing peterboro 5-1 away. Beating southend away on a friday night and yeovil away in the rain and pretty much the whole of this season. Fond memories just glad to be out of this god awful league.
  • Big Mig goal with nine men to equalise.
This, also Yeovil away in the rain.

I enjoyed Deon Burton's Usain Bolt celebration, especially when we won at Orient!
  • I am going to try and get that techy Glovepup to add a poll to the articles. Good to see other people have fond memories of the first two seasons too and hopefully promotion will make it easier to remember only the moments such as Posh away, Southend away and Leeds at home going forward.
  • The whole of this season.

  • Peterborough 0 - 5 Charlton was a cracking day out.
  • 5-1 at Peterborough, 5-1 against MK Dons, 2-1 against Leeds. The 4-4 against Millwall was epic as well.

Southend away was probably my favourite though!

And who can forget the legendary 'Yeovil in the rain' day. The sort of experience you don't appreciate until you've got home and dry!

    THE WHITE HORSE
  • Peterborough 5 - 1! Decided to go at the last minute and the game was amazing, as was the noise from the Cafc fans. Lives in my memory.
Yeovil in the lashing rain! What a day. God bless Berghaus raincoats.
Sheffield Utd away this year: knew we had done it!
  • Can't believe the orginal article had the Millwall game. How can throwing a lead away against 10 men when we are playing that lot be seen as a highlight? For me that was one of the low points of the 10/11 season.
  • swindon 9 men
    sodge against leeds
  • I'm with carter, although southend away comes close.
  • Brentford at home in September 2009, with JonJo running the show. Watched it in a pub in Vienna, people couldn't believe it was 3rd division. But when I watch the highlights again there is something strange about the apparently classy possession football..as if the players knew they would never be able to keep that sort of stuff going.
