Pity it's Martin Toal and not Victoria stanton. She's one of us and I could look at her all day long................

Edit: just seen she's on at HT. Might even stop me going to the bar.............
  • Do you think the red arrows are the special event at 2.45? Or will they be after the game with the trophy??
  • I can't imagine her Doing an operatic duet. Plus isn't that the parachute thing...

  • Don't think I've ever been so gutted to miss a home game. At least with Mrs.AFKA in attendance a win will be guaranteed.

Someone start a Valley Creche !!!

  • So excited for this as is my 6 year old who every time I walk in from work this week has sung "The reds are going up....." then my 11 year old daughter told me this morning while walking her to school that she had to write articles for a pretend newspaper and one of the articles should be about a football team, she wrote that Charlton had won the Premier League. It's been a good week so far!

Good post Nug, its great for kids that they can be proud to be associated with a club that are not in the Sky 4.

Yes as his wife is going. He's a man that's got his priorities right. Or still making up for Preston last weekend.

Lol, fair play, I put my shift in with the kids and I am still doing it now with the grandkids so I understand the "priorities" etc. However I just thought he might be struggling to get a baby sitter.
  • Leave them in a supermarket for a couple of hours with the people at the customer services desk, they'll get lots of free sweets and they'll be safe as houses
  • Ha, ha, I was not offering but my daughter is in the "nursery" business and she has a couple of smashing girls that do a bit of private work at weekends etc.

With a bit of notice and seeing as it is such an important day they might have been able to work something out enabling Dan to get to the game as well.

  • If they want a job Dan, point them in my direction.

They can always get up on the scaffolding and watch my guys when we get to work on your roof!
