Millwall in the play-off semis, West Ham in the Final.
The ball will burst and we will win 7-6 in normal time.
The Mysterons will abseil into the semi circle from the Good Year blimp at full time to reveal themselves, our new signing Christiano Ronaldo will be unveiled jumping out of the blimp strapped to Bill Gates back.

Well not really Shooters.....it's important sure but suppose they finished in the bottom two and us third from bottom.......now that (although rather pleasant) wouldn't be that great to be honest.

Yeah well alright then but we must finish above them.
our pre season involved i think a loss to Millwall at their place with basically our full strength first team on the pitch for most of the game .So on that basis below where Millwall finished unless we improve or squad
I think it is dangerous comparing us to Brighton - they play a completely different game. But it should be noted that they were competing for a play off place for much of the season and were in 6th place until recently. It is also wrong to decide where we will finish based on last season's Millwall pre season friendly. We were a new side, still learning to play with each other and that side didn't include Kermogant and the signings we will surely be making in the Summer.
We have to make assumptions of course. The first being is that we will strengthen in certain positions, but if that is the case - history shows that we can expect to be competetive, indeed extremely competetive. I think the fact that our defence is so strong - I doubt there will be any better in the Championship seriously - gives us a real good starting platform.
We don't yet know who is coming in and who is coming out, but I am a little surprised that so many of us are looking at mid-table. Maybe it is a case of not being to cocky or over ambitious. If we finished mid table- I wouldn't be calling for Powell's head or be too disapointed- it's just that I do get a sense that it is perfectly realistic to expect a little better.
Anyway, we shall see - last season I remember being initially negative, then seeing a few signings and my mood completely changing. We certainly won't be starting at that negative point this year - we know without additions that this team can hold their own - but a few good 'uns coming in and I suspect we will have that excited vibe again.

I'm going to guess 8th. Don't want to be too optimistic
If we have a shout of promotion, even better, but anyway from 10th-16th would represent a good season imho.
Brighton are a good comparison.
They finished 13th in their first season in the third tier under Poyet (same as us under Saint Chris).
Then they romped away with the the third tier (same as us).
Then finished a respectable 10th in the Championship, after a strong start.
We will do the same I reckon. Strong start creating all round excitement , post Christmas slump and then respectable mid-table finish.
I will take above Palace and Millwall with a cheeky cup run thrown in!

Onwards and upwards.
