There's my top 10. Pearce's celebration alone pretty much does it for me. Gazza's goal was a fantastic memory as well. Can anyone think of any others????

  • Alfonso scoring in the last minute of stoppage time in 2000 against Former Yugoslavia or whatever they were called that year

Czech Republic v Holland, 2004 - one of the best games of football I've ever seen, let alone in an international tournament

    Torres!!!
  • The 2000 tournament - France, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands in the semis - four great teams playing great football.

Am I alone in preferring the European Championships to the World Cup?
  • Panenka's penalty 1976
  • early memories of the dutch in 88 gulliet van basten ect but wasnt until 96 and gaza and scotland!!
  • turkey v czech rep 2008

turkey come from 2-0 down to win 3-2
  • The Stuart Pearce penalty for me was one of the greatest England moments of all time.
  • Greece winning in 2004
  • Gazza's goal against Scotland was possibly one of the best celebrated goals ever in the pub I was in.
  • England wise, when we beat Holland 4-1 in 96.
