Waggy can't cross aswell as Green, this is probably due to the fact he doesn't cross enough. His energy levels bring a different type of winger to Green. Green puts in a lot of early crosses but doesn't have the ability to beat his man and cross. Waggy is 22 and Green is 23 so both still young and both have time to improve. I'm not sure they will both cut it in the championship but there's only one way to find out.
Whilst he hasn't been our top player this season, I have seen enough to know that he can be a top player for us. SCP and the coaches are working on what needs to be worked on, but his future is bright and I think he will be a force next year.

Let's hope you're right, another year of training and playing with better players / coaches / facilities will hopefully see him improve aspects of his game because as things stand I reckon he'll struggle in the Championship. Whatever happens though, we need reinforcements on the wing(s).
Not out of the question to play them both roughly equally, similarly to this season, utilising their different strengths against differing opponents. That said, SCP seems to prefer a settled side where possible. Interesting to see if one of them can push on and really make that spot his own in the way Solly has. Both still young enough to develop, but with enough experience now to cement their place.
For me Green can't play with Stephens, and of the two I think Stephens is more likely to push on and become the player we hope he can.
I've also never seen the skill Green apparently has? Can't remember him ever beating a defender with quick feet or a trick. Don't think he's that much better in that area than Wagstaff.
Clearly got a good cross, set pieces are decent, scores the odd goal but needs to add more to his all round game. Don't think he's going to find the Championship easier, defenders won't let him have more space in dangerous areas.
I think what he meant by that thread was that we shouldn't play an unfit Jackson, which in all fairness is right, same goes for any player really, but he put it across wrongly and got ripped apart.
like you said all opinions. So your more of a waggy man then, or do you rate them both the same but feel Waggy has more future potential?
If a player is not match fit why would he want to play in front of you so called Carlton fans to slate him for not performing as expected , all need to read back what you are saying very poor. No player goes out to play bad it's the mindless morons shouting complete bollocks at players to make themselves look good , have seen myself many times this season . Wagstaff & green are two young players who need support , they are totally different in their performances and sometimes you need something different to win a game.

Green looks stronger? Waggy is quite beefed up these days, green doesnt seem to have?
What about Kermo vs Morro?
how many tickets we got left airman? and is there segregation?
There's only one way to find out......................................
Maybe we have seen the best of Green already. Maybe what we've seen is all we are going to get.

Maybe we have seen the best of Green, on the other hand maybe we have seen the best of Waggy?
