Advice on season tickets

Just signed up to this site because I need some advice.

I gave up my season ticket seven years ago during a bout of unemployment and I've only been to The Valley on a handful of occasions over the intervening years.

Promotion at work means I'm now able to afford to get to games a bit more regularly but I don't know where to buy a seat. I used to sit in Block B of the old covered end, but not sure whether to go back to that section. What I need to know is where in the covered end am I going to be able to sing and, shocking I know, stand up without having some flask-waving bore tell me to sit down? Suggestions welcome.

One last thing. Does Pork Pie still post on this site? If so say hi Abs because it'd be nice to have a beer and a catch-up at some point next season.

Up the Addicks!

  • If you are a wrinkly then get into the East or West where you can doze off with no problem. If you are a vocalist head for North Upper, Mad North Lower or a decent fan with the right attitude then get into the Noort West Quad. FACT
  • Back of blocks H/J, you'll be fine there.
  • Join the East Stand Ultras - its the new happening!
  • Two major promotions for you then! One for the rest of us. Congratulations
  • Saw Abs yesterday, he decided to come to the game at 9 yesterday morning and £80 later he was at the ground.

Top bloke. He does infrequently post on here.

Have arranged to meet him somewhere in Preston next week.

Well hopefully I'll run into him at some point. When you see him tell him Rhys says hi.

    I lovr that seat...161 and 160
  • Thanks for the responses, but one more question from me. Over how many months are installments on the finance scheme spread? Trying to get an idea of the monthly footy budget I'd need to put aside if I do get a season ticket next year. Ta!

Don't know about Zebra, but what I did was go on a price comparison site and found a credit card with 12 months interest free on purchases introductory offer, got the card, bought the tickets, ripped up the card.
  • Get the club to send you an application form, if you haven't yet. The Zebra finance stuff is all in there.
