It's not hard to spot the family resemblence is it ? Even the hairs the same. I'm looking forward to taking my dad, Don, to The Valley next season season to watch Charlton Athletic play Championship football.

He's 82 and was a regular at left back for the Addicks in the 50s and 60s, back when they used to get crowds of 60-70,000 every week.

We are delighted they got promoted. Chris Powell has done an amazing job, he brought in 14 players at the start of the season so he's been working with almost a completely New squad.

What an achievement. And he won't have to make many alterations to compete in the Championship. He's got a great squad already.

Played alongside Adrian's brother,Paul,in Sunday League. Very funny young man and the best centre-half I ever played with and that includes Phil Coleman who went on to play for Millwall.
