Reading Promoted - Pitch Invasion!!

Will they be fined and have all their season ticket holders fined/banned? I doubt it very much. Well done them.

  • I'm happy for them. Hard to dislike them and I went to uni there and went along a few times.
  • Just looked on the match thread on their forum. There are some amazing posts on there, my favourite is 'What a weird feeling. i'm crying tears of joy and i have a boner. GTFI awesome awesome AWESOME'
  • Wow. that is the holy grail of emotions/sensations.
  • and they'll get the email from the FA too.

That's not the issue, it's about whether you think it's ok to ruin the trophy presentation against Hartlepool
  • what at the wycombe game?
  • Instead of bickering, can we just focus on the fact that West Ham are in a spot of bother now. I reckon they'll blow it in the playoffs.
  • Incredible run. Shame to miss out on a local away game.
  • what trophy presentation?

do we really want west ham to stay down

  • Surprised at Reading, still remember when our reserves tore them apart in the carling cup.

Fair play to them though, didn't they get a Russian billionaire backer a few months back?

Not sure how West Ham are stronger if all they can muster is third in the table.....

  • Really kicked on after xmas congratulations to them.

3 of the 4 teams sat in the playoff spots are recieving parachute payments, so it's still very possible to get that extra money. Anyone but Cardiff would do it.

About 20,000 on the pitch. Looks like Glastonbury with more stages and less mud.
  • whole point of having rules and laws
if two fans stand at game the will get thrown out
i dont care if its two or 300 hundred you got to throw them all out
  • they will

I think the initial pitch invasion to celebrate promotion is great, bet they wouldn't have done this at St Andrews on the last day if they win the league there
  • west ham will be more of a threat next year than any of the others ..... in fact if they don't go up i'll take them finishing above any named other team in the play offs
  • there will be knocks on the door clb74
    will sky news be there

  • Good. I really want West Ham to stay down because I'm sure their higher paid players will want to leave if they have to spend a second year outside a top league. I'd love to see them go down again to Div 3 in another year or two.
  • Hope west ham stay down. 1 team is hardly going to affect us is it
  • yes and a club official with a clip board

Doubt it. They're a bunch of Reading fans in a euphoric state, not a bunch of cage fighters high on drugs ;-)
