  • ps - and yes i mentioned it in my speech at the party!! Funny how i got boos from the Palace fans but slaps on the back from the Millwall fans.?
  • Even had a Millwall mate mention in his wedding speech on Saturday night, how good is that?
  • Not fed up yet with the celebrations. In fact i could get used to it.

Next year Champions of the Championship. Year after that Premier League Champions. Year after European League Champions.

No No No No. Lets forget it my head cannot stand that many Champion sized hangovers.
  • coming down now.

Feels good to be relaxed, positive and not have a care in the football world.

Future looks bright for Charlton with the new board and the only worry is how disappointed will everyone be when they find out it isn't Nike : - )

yesterday was great, everyone was smiling and had an extra spring in their step before and after. Walking down Floyd Rd with the happy throng was special. BDL's one word announcement was spot on (less is more) and the celebrations a joy to watch.

More next season please. And the season after. And the season after that.
  • Mentioned to my son in the Oak before the game how happy everyone looked, and in the ground everyone was smiling. Nice to be relaxed after three years in this bloody division.

BDL's shout will live in the memory forever ...so perfect ...cue for delirious celebration. I had been concerned for the first 30 minutes of the second half that the ground was rather subdued owing to the Wycombe goal before halftime and that it might be better to celebrate at Preston ...however our 2nd goal turned that around and it was only right we should be acclaimed champions at the Valley.

Really looking forward to a great awayday at Preston and the Hartlepool Smurfs the following week.

What a season ...and the bookies ultimately paid for both my own and my sons season tickets for the 3 years we were down.
