Two songs that deserved more praise but didnt quite catch on from Saturday:

"We got promoted in a hopeless place" (to - we found love in a hopeless place by Liam Gallagher) cruel but clever

    "In 81, we went up,
    In 86, we went up,
    In 2011, we won 4-3,
In 2012, we made it three,
we all live for a day at Brunton Park, A day at Brunton Park, a day at Brunton Park" was lost in amongst the Eeei eeei eeei ohs!

If Nathan wasn't a plastic, he would have attended more away games and been aware of the need for proper ID.
I'm not taking my passport out with me, no one in their right mind would that.

And plastic eh? I've been to Notts Co, Rochdale, MK Dons, Sheff Utd, Stevenage, Walsall, Orient, Fulham, Sheff Wed, Bournemouth, Scunny and now Carlisle and with Preston to follow
    :-)

This song was stolen from the clique who started: "We found Powell in a hopeless place..." after Bournemouth.

    The scoundrels.

'We're going up in a Northern place' was what I heard, which makes sense as it scans better.
  • we were singing were going up in a northern place in the ground and griffin

Correct @WSS along with such classics as 'We're Champions and we know it' by LMFAO and 'Ben Hamer' by Alexandra Burke.

Anyway when did Gallagher ever sing it?

We were singing We won promotion in a northern place, we win promotion in a northern place, like 1981 and 86.... Heard hopeless place as well.

    3 main highlights for me:
    1. Seeing the pitch invasion from my seat
    2. Singing "The reds are going up" along with the players
    3. Turning round and seeing Headphones Norm about 20 rows behind me. Put a massive smile on my face! What a man!

Sorry: sat back to long on this:
Nathan, You don't work, yet owe people money, go to 13 away matches and can go to pubs (if allowed) ? I assume You also have a season ticket.

Where the F*** did I go wrong ?

This was my point earlier. I struggle to get by each month and Nathan can afford to get to a bundle of away fixtures whilst jobless?

    Agreed. But...........
Why moan about "can't get a job" whilst people who are working can't afford to go out, let alone travel all over the country following a football team ?

I have £140 to myself a month, I cut back on going out to the pub on a weekend to be able to do away games and don't buy myself anything at all

i do believe that in my current status i need to work 5 days a week to get by so im with you

  • TBF

folks it has nothing to do with anyone how nathan goes to football or what he spends his dough on,

    Nathan

can be annoying and can be an arse quite a lot of the time ,

But much like Seb i wouldnt really want to see people try to take advantage of him,

Even on Saturday when we had the MTFU banter and Nathan was man enough to makesure Dean knew he was there and they shook hands

We still made sure Nathan wasnt hanging around the griffin once most had gone as he wouyldve been an easy target

And i think some of you are making Nathan that same easy target and i think you should back off

    Just My opinion

dont think you would ask anyone other than nathan the questions you are

Nathan loves it! Anyway says you who was laughing along at your pal threatening him last week. I thought that was close to bullying and was uncomfortable with it.

NLA, just my opinion, but Nathan doesn't help himself by being (too ?) honest on here. As You know, people are struggling to live, let alone go to most Home and Away games, so by coming on a forum telling, and "joking" about how he doesn't work, owes people money, cheats "fares",etc Is going to rub people up the wrong way. Do You have £170 to Yourself every month without doing No work ? As I say, just My opinion, and I apologise if I've annoyed anyone.

(And Yes, there is alot of jealousy that I couldn't afford to go to Carlise on Saturday, but, I couldn't afford it).

    Shouldve said something B ,

Nathan was part of the Just say Solly thing with Dean and if you wouldve seen it in the Griffin Saturday you wouldve seen that

Do you honestly think Chappers wouldve hit Nathan, and a lot of the things said were to poke fun at Dean

    Like Nathan Is the Daddie

    Singing to Dean MTFU

If you or anyone else had felt uncomfortable with it just say at the time and if i read it back and think i was out of order i would have Said Solly Immediately

    MOG

He dont help himself i agree he can be annoying and an Arse but i dont think when it comes to personal things like money he should have to justify how much or how he can afford to do things

its his money his life how he gets that money and spends it is up to him

No I do not honestly think he would have hit him but calling him a soapy whatsit etc - wasnt great.
Nathan brings it on himself he doesnt need you to tell everyone for him he is quite good at giving back as good as he gets.
