There's lots of clap around in this thread. Just remembered must go to the VD clinic next week and see some Millwall and Palace supporters just to smirk and gloat
Vowed after we relegated them I will never watch that shower of **** ever again, home or away. F*** them, oh and the same goes for Millwall(not that we relegated them of course!)
Looking forward to it. And even more looking forward to Palace at the Valley. Hope to see 26,000 Charlton fans rising as one to give Lennie 'Houdini' Lawrence a standing ovation, if he's still with them...
Ron Noades has gone. Tango Man has gone. You can accuse me of going soft, but I find it difficult to hate any club at which LL has a senior role. (Actually I freely confess I am going soft in my dotage, because I'm even enjoying Pardew's success at Newcastle. Never thought I'd say that because I joined this forum five years ago for the sole reason of adding my voice to the campaign to remove Pardew, whom I despised with a passion for the ruination he was bringing on our club! I've put that out of my mind and replaced it with fonder memories of what a good player he was at the Valley when he was contributing vital goals from midfield).
I had some happy times watching Charlton at Selhurst. I know this is heresy, but for me next season, Palace will be no different from our other 22 opponents. (Apart from Milwall, of course. Now there is a team I do genuinely hate, despite Dany N'Guessan's sterling contribution to our cause!)
A friend has pointed out that there is a beer festival at Selhurst Park in May - as he is talking about coming down from Birmingham for it I may join him... Don't think I'll wear a Charlton shirt though.
