Not really quick, no. He's a target man so holds the ball up fantastically well and brings others into play with his flick-ons etc. He's a very clever player and the type that defenders hate to play against. Our other strikers have thrived since he joined us from Middlesbrough in the summer as he really makes the side gel.

He'll probably leave at the end of the season as he's a cut above this level; by far our best striker in the last four or five years. A lot better than Danny Graham when he was with us, so to see him leave would be devestating. He's 28 now so really in his prime after having played in the SPL and the Championship, so for him to get injured now is rather annoying.
sound like a better Paul Hayes
  • Yeah, Loy broke his leg on Boxing Day v Preston. He was becoming a really good player for us, but as always, our best players get injured.
  • You'll get funny looks wearing Ugg boots in Carlisle. 10c is practically tropical.
  • Do you still share the tractor/grasscutter with the rugby club? When my brother lived up that way some years back I'm sure that was the arrangement.
  • I don't know to be honest. Our groundsman wins awards year after year - our pitch is the best in the country in my opinion. You'll see for yourselves tomorrow. No idea which tractor he uses though!
  • Cheers jk. As I say, it was some years back :-)

  • zoko will probably be playing instead of miller wont he? bit of a jynx were linked with him apparently before this weekend!
  • Yeah he'll play. Linked with Charlton and Rangers according to Sky (http://mobile.newsnow.co.uk/A/561867661?-1892). If he turns up he's as good as anybody in the league and will cause you problems. Very hit and miss but has been a huge player for us this season.

Do you wear em in wet weather? Don't they get a bit soggy?

  • One of Zoko's goals from last season if you're interested... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xeuHqX1oFg Would be a good signing for you; on his day he's easily Championship, if not Premiership quality. One to watch out for tomorrow. Watch out for Jordan Cook too - on loan from Sunderland but looks a real player. I'm sure someone mentioned he played against you for Walsall last season and was the best player on the pitch.
