Everyones trembling about Carlisle, a team we are streets ahead of. All because 'OOoooooh but they're fighting for the playoffs!!!" So bloody what! They will see us coming and know that we are the best team in this league and a win could give us promotion!
It is strange how there seems to be more worrying after yesterdays game than after Saturdays? Surely another three points would make things a bit more comfortable!?
Carlisle this season, played twice, won twice, scored 6, conceded 0. Remember Stevenage having equivalent cubic meters of smoke blown up them when they were sixth.
Interesting views from some of there fans on how they won't cope if Miller is out

Are all football fans like this!?
Exactly. Yes the Sheffield clubs are in good form, but so are we and they are running out of games to catch us. We would have to lose 2-3 out of our last 4 games. Not going to happen.
All football fans get too carried away with a win and get too upset with a loss. Look at the whole season. We are top, because we are the best in the league.
Well said mate, we are top of the league for a reason, and we are going to finish top of the league for that very same reason...because we are the best team in this league. A few nerves at this time of year are expected but we are still picking up 3 points and that is all that is important.
We've lost 1 in 6, only conceded 2 goals in nearly 10 hours of football since the Notts County game, neither from open play. 4 clean sheets, and done one of those playing with 10 men for 60 minutes, and then 9 for 20.
When you consider the great form we are in, it is surprising to see the morale so low on here. Why are people questioning the worst case scenario. The other teams will be looking at these opinions and calling us absolute mentalists!
The better our form gets, the more the nerves set in. Madness.

To be fair, we're grinding the results out, rather than sweeping past the opposition like the 2 Sheffield clubs. It's always more reassuring if you're winning by several goials rather than by 1-0, and we have played better earlier in the season.
Having said that, I reckon we'll draw at Carlisle but win the other 3 games to break the 100 point barrier!

ideal scenario = we win all our remaining games, sheff utd win all their remaining games. The wendies lose all their remaining games and lose in the playoffs. That is all.
I firmly believe that there is no way this group of players are going to screw up now. The spirit and sheer dogged determination to grind out two 1-0 victories over 48 hours one of which they were down to 9 men speaks volumes. Individual errors contributed heavily to the couple of home defeats recently and you can never rule these out but that was a wake up call and the the last three wins on the spin without conceding a goal has meant normal service has been resumed. We have the best fullbacks in the league, the best Central defenders (all three of them) and a keeper behind them who has dealt with what he has needed to when called upon. We have enough about us to contain and take our chances when they present themselves, Sheff Wed, Brentford, Bournemouth, Oldham aways all spring to mind where we did a job. It's not pretty to watch but I see no reason to start doubting the teams ability to continue to get wins at Carlilse and Preston. Carlisle as the home team will need to take the game to us and that will suit us fine if it becomes stretched and Preston as stated are a club in crisis contain them and quieten their crowd who could then well turn on Westley. The two home games are ours for the taking. COYR!
Not sure why some are so nervous. Last 3 wins have sealed it. This team hasn't let us down this season, when I see Kerms up front I know the opposition defence are going to have a horrible afternoon, Solly Morrison etc in defence haven't conceded a goal in open play since god knows when. Have some faith.

Just out of interest, did you watch the Oldham highlights? I know highlights don't give you the full picture, especially in the FL Show but the impression I got was that Oldham started well and had a few chances, they're just incapable of scoring. And then after that they somehow let Llera gallop unchallenged up from defence and pick out a cross, let him lope lankily in front of the keeper for his goal, and then left Lowe unmarked in the box for a soft header. I didn't get a feeling Weds murdered them so much as Oldham missed their chances then gave up on life. I'm sure the Sheffields think we murdered Yeovil but there are plenty on here who reckoned we were poor in that match. I don't think we've seen enough of their performances to be sure they're playing that well. Getting results certainly but beyond that I don't know
I watched the whole of the Sheff Wed v Oldham 1st half and Oldham were in the ascendancy but had no cutting edge. Wendies were awful and looked nervous. Lady luck smiled on them for their 1st goal because imo Llera brought down Adeyemi? for a penalty that was not given and he could have been sent off and then goes straight up the other end and crosses for Madine to score; the rest is history...........and that's your luck!
On the other hand, they're unbeaten in 9 with 4 wins and 5 draws, so are clearly playing much better now, so I'm expecting a tough game, and a hard earned point (especially with no Hollands or Russell)
Similarly, Wednesday have to go to Brentford on the 28th, which will also be a tough fixture, if Brentford still have a playoff place to go for...
Huddersfield were on a fairly good run and we beat them...
Yes Carlisle is not an easy game, but its certainly not the scariest place to go like some people seem to be making out. We are top of this league for a good reason and we didn't get where we are now by being pessimistic about potentially tricky fixtures. In fact all of our 'hardest' games we've done very well in (Both sheffields away, Huddersfield at home etc). Lets not be scared and lets go up there and show the rest of the league why we are top of the league.
Carlisle Life (or equivalent of) will be getting their stat box out and will see we have won 15 away games this season.
When it comes to a game where one team can win promotion if they win, all form books go out of the window. Our boys will experience a determination and fire that will exceed anything they've had this yeart. The type you can only get from being 3 points from possible glory. If we play 100% then we will win. Its quite simple.
So why were some so convinced that Rochdale would get a result against Sheff Utd on the run they are both on but Carlisle away is such a piece of piss
Weird
Nobody is saying it's a piece of piss. But we're the best team in this league, not to mention being brilliant away from home. We need to have a bit more faith in what we're capable of.

Come on, no more negativity, even if Rochdale had pulled off a sensation last night we still need 4 points to get promoted. I just want out of this league period, winning the trophy is a bonus.
There's an article in the Sheffield Telegraph today about the Massives fans queueing for Brentford tickets. It talks about the fight for second place behind Charlton. There is not even a hint that both Sheffield clubs could make it over the line. They are both scared s######s at the thought of missing out to their rivals and not even speculating that we might slip up.

No Lee Miller and we'll see how good they are

If Miller is out, then they are pretty shot shy
