  • I was on that one as well lawrie , from well hall
The driver shimmied on to the hard shoulder to get away but half our coach had been giving them the thumbs down and laughing at them, so the leeds fans were a bit provoked and we weren't as chirpy when the leeds nut nuts clambered out the back of their coaches emergency exit !
And further down the motorway we pulled into a service station and straight back out as we saw another southbound leeds coach ..... And this was when there was no toilet on the coach , so we all had to control our bladders till we got back to eltham
  • The Long Goodfriday what aday.Four of us travelled by car the last one being pulled from his sickbed.Drink in Birmingham that night no trouble at all. After the game a quick dash across the waste land to the car, which had wolverhampton based garage on plates always a good idea when playing Leeds.Stopped off in Nuneaton on way back loads of Coventry fans in pub and was unable to buy a beer alnight.Came out of pub about 2am after landlord had done a lock-in for us.Everyone seem pleased we had beated Leeds.HAPPYDAYS.......YOU BET.
