As much as you want to go, there are things in life that are more important than 90 minutes of football. You may need a holiday from paying your mortgage later on in the year for more of a serious reason, and you will have used it up going to football. If you dont go to the match follow it on here, on sky sports and on the radio, and whatever the result, 24 hours later, you'll not feel so miffed you missed it, life goes on, and there will be plenty more glory moments in CAFC history that you will be able to be there.
I can't go to any away games before the end of the season and I can't even go to Hartlepool on the 5th May, and I'm gutted about it, but just have to get on with it and look forward to next season. I haven't missed the last home game of a season for 13 years.
Stick your money on a Man U/Arsenal double tonight, will collect your money for Saturdays money in the morning , and still be able to pay the mortgage. But in all honesty mate sort your mortgage out first.
Start a new thread... "Can anyone provide a freebie lift to Alan Dugdale to Carlisle". it will halve your cost. you'll probably need to sell your body / sperm for the beer money and pasties though.
cycle up there, when we win promotion and pitch invade sneak into the dugouts with a sleeping bag for the night, then cycle home back in time for the wycombe game
I've been convinced for ages that we'll get promoted in Cumbria as usual and I'm desperate to get to the game. However, work is thin on the ground and money is tight. My dilemma is this...I have a cheque that'll clear this week but it's meant to pay this month's mortgage. Do I dip into it and travel up or should I be boring and sensible?!
Bad news...I won't be going to Carlisle on Saturday.. Good news..mortgage will be paid tmrw AND I've got work this week and next plus I'll be able to go to Preston. Still hoping we get promoted Saturday of course. Thanks for (most of !) the above comments - some great suggestions there !

Good attitude btw, a lot of people look in to excuses for not going instead of looking in to ways of gooing.
Job done!
