Off to The Valley tomorrow to get my ticket and book the coach. I know I should'nt, can't afford it and it's going to be a trip from hell but I just can't stand the possibility of missing out on the moment we clinch promotion.
Cant wait for the whole day setting off at silly o'clock, have a few beers on the way up,meet up in the pub with mates who have travelled up in cars and on the train, get even beers down us. The game is a blur as news filters through the Wendys are losing,as Jackson steps up to place a free kick in the top left hand corner. Que mass celebrations as ref blows for full time. I can sense it now Saturday is our day.

I hope WIWLB and NLA and others are right and that Saturday is 'our day'................I also hope to be able to bring the atmosphere/tension and flavour of the game, to those not going, on the Match Thread..............its gonna be a 'BIG' day.............(Cant use the word massive).................. I'll start the build up from 2 pm..............see you all then.

Spot on. A game of this magnitude is worth suffering on the coach for.
the messiest day of the season for me so far without a doubt,
Good luck Red shame you aint doing the report from the stand
Not going but will be watching the results from a pub willing the telly on to update to a win... whilst quaffing champagne on the winnings that Peanuts had made us just a short while ago.
Was just going to ask what the deal is with pay on the day? Just checked for train tickets and York-Carlisle rtn is £49.80, three and a half hour run so might be doable. Just don't fancy going on the home end
Just called the club. All coached sold out. Can't get up there . Gutted
Someone must be driving from the Bromley area, who can give you a lift, if you chip in for petrol. Sorry, I can't help as I'm on the coach. Start a new thread "Lift required from Bromley to Carlisle".
