There's several at different prices and locations...just call the Commercial Dept on Tuesday morning and they'll give you the run down on the various packages. There is possibly some info/pictures etc on the Club website as well. Forgot to mention sc....message Bart, he did something for his birthday at The Valley a few months back and really loved it, no doubt he can let you know what his deal was.
The Celebration Suite is very good for something like a Birthday and Theo Foley is the host. You get a good three course meal with tea or coffee; tea or coffee and biscuits at half time and tea or coffee at full time. You also get a matchday programme.

I'm pretty sure that's the deal Bart had...great seats too (padded no less!) right at the front of the West Upper on the halfway line, fantastic view.
Highly recommended, took a party of friends down there for my 60th for the MK game. Although I have been involved in events at Charlton, ( mainly kids football) which were always first class, Everyone was impressed, at least they told me that, so much so that they have asked to go again as 'regular paying punters', so well done Charlton. Theo is excellent, and the staff are helpful and attentive.
Personally found Theo Foley vey poor. Have been in the Directors box twice since and Brian Kinsey is very good particulary in comparison to Theo.
Nice of you to say so...........Theo is of course a lovely man as anyone who's ever met him will testify. Something of a legend around the place and loves the club to bit's. Not sure why are you compairing him with others, is the popularity of matchday hospitality hosts some kind of a competition all of a sudden? Theo does a fabulous job and I've never heard 'anyone ever' have a bad word to say about such a lovely fella. From what I know of Brian, I fancy he'd be hugely embarrassed by your comments.
We have used the Celebration and Greenwich Suites on numerous occassions and have had nothing but compliments for the staff - including the hosts - in both. They will go out of their way to be helpful wherever possible. There was a hospitality questionaire to be completed by guests yesterday and we gave top marks for the service we have always received.
My elderly father and I eat in the Celebration Suite every match and the staff there are marvellous, including Theo whom we have come to look on as a friend. Theo is a really lovely man. I would also like to thank Harry the steward for all his help. Dad is has limited mobility now and Harry does so much to help Dad and make the day so enjoyable for both of us.

I have a table in Legends for my son's birthday on 2nd May. It was about £25 per adult and about £14 for me son.
I will be in there Kings Hill so will come and say hello, have you ordered a cake for him???
I haven't. I didn't know they did them. I was thinking I'd take one from M&S. I might call the club and see what they say. Have you had a cake there before Mike?

Apolgies for having an opinion
But Johnny, why put that out on a public/Charlton message board about such a nice and well thought of fella, if you have a complaint about the way he treated you then tell the club.........or Theo himself. I think it's a bit uncalled for....you are of course entitled to an opinion but surely a bit of deference to him wouldn't go amiss and compairing him with others on the hospiality team is frankly not very nice. To publicly call him 'very poor' at his job as a match day host is plainly ridiculous as hundreds (possibly thousands) of his guests over the years would no doubt testify. All the hosts are chosen precisely 'because' they are such nice, personable, friendly individuals and to hear Theo described in that way is most unfair and I'm honestly astounded....he always comes over and talks to me and any of the group I'm with at every game (when we see him that is) and finds time for 'everyone' if he possibly can. He does a great job (as indeed do all the hosts) and is well thought of by everyone working at The Valley.

Kingshill, You get a lot of birthdays being celebrated in Legends, normally Colin Walsh & Bob Bolder turn up with the cake and say a few nice words then get everyone to sing happy birthday.
I am sure you could take your own cake but I would call and make sure plus see if you can arrange for the ex players to present it as I am sure it would put a smile on your sons face.
yes they do... its a right cringe. I had to stand up with Bob Bolder and Jonjo and have the whole room sing happy birthday to me with poor Jonjo singing standing next to me. No cake tho mind you.

That sounds fantastic. I'll be on to the club asap.
For information the Celebration suite is sold out for the Wycombe game. There are very few places left in the centre circle suite, but room is avaialable in the Greenwich suite & legends. Depending on the Carlisle result - Wycombe could be very popular after this weekend! - so SC i would advise booking prior to the weekend to avoid dissapointment.

SoundAs you are of course correct to say that to call Theo Foley 'very poor' was wrong and I want to apologise for that, particulary as he is someone who has given many years of service to the club. What I was gulity of was not expanding on what I meant and using what was in hindsight the wrong term.
Just to put a bit of context of what I was 'trying' to say (but cleary failed) was that I have never been on club hospitaility day until about 3 seasons ago in the celebration suite where Theo Foley was the host so had no idea of what the hosts did. We all had a great day out and would throughly recommend this to anyone.
In the last 2 seasons I have been in the Directors Box twice for the 5 Year Season Ticket Day. On both these occasions Brian Kinsey has been the host where unlike the Celebration Suite, Brian gave a welcoming speech about his life, and once this was finished had a short Q&A and was prerpared to carry on the the discussuons with anyone who was intesrested to. This was a truley great expereince and one that I really enjoyed.
Looking back it was clear that the 2 suites have 2 different auidiences and purposes and that the hosts deal with them accordingly. For that I am wrong and what I should have done was offer a comparsion of the suites and not the hosts.
Thanks Johnny....very decent of you to put the matter straight. I agree about the difference in the lounges and the targetted clientelle. I'm sure you too (like Theo and ALL the hosts) are a thoroughly decent chap.

Apart from the person you are quoting, of course.
