When do we get to vote or have I already missed the chance?

  • next 2 home games I think.
  • Nice to actually have a few real contenders, rather than picking the best of a bad bunch or the least awful player.
  • Surely little Chris has it in the bag?
  • Lawrence Bloom!

Keeping Injury prone players fit all season (apart from Mr. Jackson). Taylor, Wiggins, BWP and Solly to an extent all have had injury hit careers to date and all relatively have been fit all season.
  • I think I've narrowed it down to Solly and Wiggins now. Such a difficult choice though!

Solly vs Kermogant for me... I will probably just ask which of the two my little brother is going to vote for with his season ticket and vote for the other so they get 1 each.
  • I will be collecting votes my son and nephews will be collecting votes while I sit around drinking and chatting in the Liberal Club
  • can't see past Solly myself. A few get honourable mentions in dispatches notably Wiggy, Morro, Yann, Hollands, BWP BUT it has to be Solly by a country mile for me.

  • Solly or Kermorgant
  • Kermorgant for me, his impact on the team has been massive, on his day utterly unplayable, and for all the criticism of our style, we're a better team for him leading the line.
  • Hollands for me largely unoticed but has been a man stay in the team.

Solly will probably win it and from the lad i had doubts about last season well this season has gone from strength to strength and is superb
  • Solly for me. As the sign by the tunnel says "Quality is Expected. Effort is Required". Solly has never been found lacking in effort and this season has shown that he has quality in abundance. It says so in his song so it much be true!
  • Kerms for me, with Solly/JJ/Hollands/Morrison close behind
  • Solly, Kermorgant or Hollands for me i think. Will probably be Solly though.
  • My choice was Kermo earlier in the season ... but no doubt has to be Solly
  • Kermy over Solly, just, for me. Solly will go on to have an illustrious career and win trophies, whereas Kermy is 30 and to the best of my knowledge hasn't had much success along the way, until now. The way he has been battered in recent weeks particularly, but doesn't retaliate and stays on the pitch to lead the attack, has been inspirational.
  • Just say Solly.
  • Early in the season it looked as if this would be fantastically difficult with Solly, Wiggins, Taylor, Morrison, Hollands, Stephens, Jackson and BWP all looking to be strong contenders. Then Kermorgant came along and seemingly made the choice even more difficult. Since then everyone's played well and we've still got several possible contenders. Solly however has maintained a performance rate second to none and for me must be player of the year. I think Rizzo nailed it with the Quality and Effort argument, but in case anyone is in any doubt just take a look at our own man of the match scores. He has averaged 7.38 across 39 games. That's a terrific achievement and far higher than anyone else.

  • Kermorgant for me. He is the player that i believe has made us from a top 6 to a top 2 team.
  • Solly for me

    agree with r&c
  • I always vote for someone in Back Four, spoilt for choice this year.
  • Wiggins earlier this season, but now has to be Solly. Very consistent and only turned 21 this season.

Always rated him, looked like the kind that would become a fans fabourite, but still impressed with how consistent he is. Also looks like his attacking play is going to improve with experience - even more confident on the ball now than he was early on this season so is playing his way out of trouble more often.

Kermorgant probably 2nd choice for me.
Morrison, Wiggins and Taylor have generally had very good seasons. BWP so important for us, the goalscorer we didn't have 2 seasons ago.

Midfield including Hollands and Jackson not as convincing, although of course they've had good seasons.
  • 1 Solly

    2 Kermorgant
  • He's better than John Terry, Chris Solly, Solly....
  • Kermogrant for me, the effort and passion that he puts in is amazing, but Solly not far behind. Clearly out of those two.
  • Solly v kermo v Morrison

Solly for me. Consistant, solid, surprising. He has been effin quality
  • I must say I get tingles when I hear people talking about Kermorgant so positively... I hear a lot of people on here saying that we should try someone else as a partner with BWP... Something I have disagreed with massively... And shown by the amount of people putting him forward as Player of the Season ahead of BWP... Just saying... One player I would have loved to have seen more of is Leon Cort by the way, he is an absolute beast and wins everything in the air.
