If there are tickets left on saturday for Watford and people apply by post do they get them first before they go to people who actually go to the ticket office on saturday?
i think they process things as and when. one person in the window and one person on postal applications?
otherwise how would it be fair, i don't know who gets priority.... i guess they both get a pile of tickets to allocate and whoever runs out first runs out first...?
i think your best bet is to get down there first thing sat morning face to face if you can't get down there sooner
[cite]Posted By: Pardy_Army[/cite]no, you cant apply by post with no VG/Stubs till monday
They go on sale to season ticket holders with no stubs at 10am on saturday. A few of us have 6 tickets already but we have 2 other mates who have applied by post as they couldn't get down there
Just rung the ticket office and it's not looking good, the lady didn't say how many were left but said instead of gettin down the Valley 1st thing on Sat,to ring at 5-30pm 2mora to make sure there is some left but she was very doubtful that there will be :-(
Maybe we could introduce some form of priority queuing system for people turning up in person?
If you're "proper Charlton" you go to one of three windows staffed by the most experienced and efficient ticket office staff, whereas if you're some sort of "johnny come lately/never been to an away game in your life/never went to Selhurst Park flasker" you join the queue for the one window operated by the spotty yoof on work experience who cant even write his own name, let alone operate a computer.
We could have a points system where people are graded according to 43 different criteria, just to make it completely fair. Obviously those criteria would have to be the subject of a consultation exercise with all 20k season ticket holders, which in turn would need to be debated at a public meeting and subject to a "one season ticket holder one vote" ballot.
Unless of course you are a "proper Charlton" ST holder and then your vote is weighted to actually be worth 1.75 voted.
Of course, to decide who is "proper Charlton" in this regard would involve a different set of criteria, which in turn would need to be agreed in advance ....... well, you get my drift.
Right then. Who fancies getting the ball rolling by providing the first draft of the policy for determining how the first set of criteria are going to be democratically drawn up? Suzi?
We could use AFKA's "100 you're not proper Charlton unless"- score from that with a multiplier for S/T holders and a double multiplier for VG. That should sort it out.

sod that, i'll just chance me luck as a non valley golder with away stubs (and an extra £120 in me pocket) :-)
[cite]Posted By: F-Blocker[/cite]Do you get extra points for voting for Henry?
Only if you kept your voting slip.
Off-it, at least that the end of your "we never sell out, no one ever misses out on a ticket if you want one" arguement against the loyalty scheme. I like your suggestion but maybe just a little over complicated so maybe 5 points for london game and 10 points for out of London plus 50 each for VG and ST.

15 for out the country? Like Cardiff next year
20 for UEFA cup away games in kasikstan (top of the fair play league again.)
