We only need two wins and a scrambled point from 4 games to go up as champions.
Home to a team who lost 4-0 to chesterfield. Home to a team with nothing to play for. Away to a team we have a 6-0 aggregate advantage over in two games. Away to a club in total crisis.
If we can't get at least 7 points out of that lot we won't deserve to win the league if the other two keep up the pace.
mate, i just cannot understand why you have such little faith in this team, to think we wont win all our games.
a team thats already accumulated 91 points, conceded so few goals and has more bottle than unigate.
there were moments a few weeks back where a tiny bit of doubt entered my mind and the team bounced back to put that doubt to bed and made me think stop bein a muppet.
if this team cant win our fans over then i really do despair

Why do you assume I'm not won over ? I am merely saying what I think will pan out. We are grinding out results and not playing particularly fluently at the moment. Both Sheffs are rocking. I think it will be a close run thing that's all. Five points will win it for us. I'm not going To say we will win every game like some people because I don't think we will. Hope we do but don't think we will. That ok ?
Come on SHG, I'll ask you again, put your money where your mouth is and lump on Sheffield United, you can get 10s if you're quick

What the feck is a wind up about my posts ? I think we will win the title but it will be a lot too close for comfort. Not a bottle job either whatever that means or am I obliged to say we will win every game because it's disloyal to say otherwise.
this team has made a habit of grinding out results since october. thats why i struggle to agree with this 'we arent playing well'....other teams fans, especially the two sheff clubs, have said we are efficient. and thats all you need to be at this level.
will we play well in all the last 4 games? prob no. we will win all the last 4 games? prob yes.
When someone takes a penalty my dad likes to say 'scores' just as the bloke hits it. Or alternatively 'missed' if the mood takes him. Then if that limited outcome goes in his favour he'll say 'told you'. This reminds me of that. It's outrageously easy to sit there and guess the team in 2nd place will win 6 games out of 6. It requires zero effort, energy or nous on the part of the person guessing, and as a result it's also extremely pointless. While I get that not everyone just wants to be positive all the time, I really don't see that point in this one
The original post said Sheff Utd could win all their remaining games, which they might well as the more shrewd amongst us acknowledged. However, that doesn't mean anybody is saying we won't win the league. We only need to win our two home games and with the clean sheets back I think we'll do that.

You haven't upset me Shooters, I don't want to give you that impression. I'm not annoyed at the post so much as slightly confused. Predicting what the opposition will do is an easy game because you look at the table and assume the team's form. No-one has time to watch every team a sufficient amount. I reckon the Sheffields are looking at us still top by a decent margin despite a perceived blip, seeing us down to 9 men or grinding out a result against Walsall and thinking 'Jesus, nothing is stopping them'. Apart from the bunch who seem to spend their lives on our forum they probably assume we're playing well in these games as well, just as I can only assume the form of our rivals. I think we can win all our games to be honest, but both the confident and the worried are too close to it to really give an objective opinion on our chances as at this stage the emotions take over.
Thing is oohaa my post are positive enough for my to state I think we'll win the league but it will be close. I accept I'm a traitor for not thinking we will win every game.

I'm happy to bet anyone that sheffield utd will accumulate more points than we will in the last 4 games ....the reason being their form is better and they need them more , nothing traitorous just an opinion although it may offensive to a precious few

Obviously I would like Sheffield United to go up and as Champions would be nice, but with Charlton 6 points ahead and a slightly better goal difference I cant see that happening with only 4 games remaining. Automatic promotion is all I want. Find it hard to believe that you lot are so worried, 8 points clear of third and only 4 to go, win one more and your up.

Of our remaining games this is the big one for us, with both Sheffield United and the pigs (MASSIVES to you) winning consistently, we need to make sure we don't slip up! Our allocation for Franchise MK I believe is now fixed at 6,000, so should be a good day out (I hope).
Honest question, if you can get some breathing space on Wednesday, do you think you'll drop off a bit? Cause one of you will break under the pressure (suspect Wednesday as chasing is harder)
