Garry is big & ugly enough to defend Himself, but.......
As strange as it may seem to some, the "Oi" Movement wasn't just right-wing hooligans, there were/are plenty of us "lefties" involved, including "The GodFather of Oi". If You pick up any of the early albums (The Business, Infa-Riot, Garry Johnson...) you will see a cross sections of bands under one umbrella. Among the many (& I mean many) dedications on the album sleeves are John Peel, The Jam, The Ruts, The Clash, Polish workers, Martin Luther King, Amnesty International and Jack Straw. Along with Paul Walsh, CAFC, The Tramshed & "Paul of CAFC". There is also Monty Python, The Goons, Splodge, Charles Haughtrey & Arthur Daley.
If your wondering, I'm on the left of the Gonads "Carry On Oi" pic, and far-left (where-else) on the back cover of "Oi Oi that's yer lot".
