Can I just say that Yorkshire referee , (don't know if he's from Sheffield, I do know he's been banned for his childish behaviour on Facebook) is the worse ref I have seen at the Valley. FA should look at weirdos like this bloke, in other industries some people may think that he could be corrupt.

I didnt think the BWP incident was a penalty, but the muppet in blacks' total and utter ineptitude was shown in its entirity when he gave a foul against Stephens for an identical challenge on the halfway line.
It was so bad I couldnt be bothered to heckle him in the end.
The Wiggins "foul" was the one that got me, in the second half, great one-footed tackle to toe the ball away and stop a dodgy-looking counter-attack.

On the players marks thread the other week I set out my performance standards for ratings from 1 = Should never play the game again to 10 = Superman should be on another planet (Krypton?) and I never expect to apply them. That idiot yesterday was a nailed on 1 in the refereeing stakes and should never be allowed to control a game again at professional level. He spoilt the game and allowed dangerous tackles to go unpunished for far too long risking serious injury to players. Ok 5 bookings in the end for the oppo but SCP was very forgiving of him imo although that was mainly due to his 2nd half display and the positive outcome for us I'm sure. I hope the club mark him down accordingly in the assessment.
As far as I know these Refs have an FA Assessor in the crowd marking them on their performance, I would love to see the results for this one. Great tackles by Stephens and Wiggins were penalised and Kermo was repeatedly getting kicked and fouled yet free kicks were awarded to Orient. Are all the Ref's in this league of the same poor standard?

With what I've seen this last month or so, in general I'd have to say yes!
If a player is having a bad game, he gets substituted, the same should apply to the ref, he should have gone after 10 minutes !
I think this is a very good idea - only let down by the fact they would need about half a dozen refs at every game! This one gets half the marks of last week`s.
