  • Hamer 8 - for all the criticism yesterday's performance was excellent all round.
    Solly 8 - quality
Morrison 6.5 - looks the most nervous player right now, lots of cheap hoofs and can't remember him taking the ball into midfield once.
    Cort 7.5 - assured
Wiggins 7.5 - still doesn't look as confident as earlier in the season but made one and contributed throughout.
Wagstaff 8.5 - MOM - great energy, fantastic first half and caused them endless problems.
Hollands 7 - feels like he might need a rest
Stephens 7 - frustratingly talented but oh-so-slow player. Quick thinking for the opener though.
Cook 7 - seems to be lacking match sharpness but offered way more yesterday than his previous loan spell put together
Wright Phillips 6.5 - frustrating afternoon, decent first half but not in the second
Kermorgant 7.5 - kicked throughout, I think Powell needs to free him to drop a tad deeper he'd find more space, and facing goal I think he'd be even more dangerous.
  • Hamer 7 MOM by default as there was no stand out candidate.
    Solly 7
    Morrison 6.5
    Cort 7
    Wiggins 6.5
    Wagstaff 7
    Hollands 6.5
    Stephens 6

    Wright Phillips 6.5
    Kermorgant 6.5
  • Hamer 7.5
    Solly 8
    Morrison 7
Cort 7.5 - A solid looking central defender.
    Wiggins - 7.5
Wagstaff 8 - MOM - A good performance. If you genetic splice the best bits of Scott Wagstaff and Danny Green, that would make one hell of a player.
Hollands 6 -Too many sleepness nights from the babies ? What happened to the midfield in the 2nd half ?
    Stephens 6 - As above
    Cook - 7
Wright Phillips 6.5 - looked a bit fed up after getting nothing from the referee
    Kermorgant - 7.5

    N'Guessan n/a (7)
Green n/a (6) (didn't have time to do much)

Bench looked good Sullivan, Taylor and Pritchard
Chris Powell made good substitutions today. A good team selection.

  • Hamer - 7.5: a couple of very good saves and excellent distribution. He has got his confidence back
Solly - 7.5: great awareness and overall quality.
    Morrison - 6: competent
Cort - 7: dominant in the air and a real danger offensively
Wiggins - 6.5: great assist ( with Stephens ) for the first goal
Wagstaff - 7.5: put in a really good shift
Hollands - 6: not at his best but got the foot in
Stephens - 5: quick thinking for the first goal but a generally insipid performance. A very good footballer and there is much more to come from him
Cook - 7: another good footballer. Understandably not 100% fit owing to lack of match practice but a great cross and some very good corners
Wright Phillips - 6: started well but faded
    Kermorgant - 6: took a bit of a battering ( as usual )

  • Hamer-8. Great game. Showed doubters that on his day, can be a very decent GK.
Solly-8.5. Run out of superlatives for this lad.
Morrison-7. Good solid performance. So comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Cort-7. A tower at the back and wins every header.
Wiggins-7. Not his most dynamic game but looked to get forward in 1st half. Good play to set up waggy's goal.
Wagstaff-8.5. 1st half was probably the best 45 mins I've seen him play. Happy birthday Scotty. MOM
    Hollands-6. Average performance.
Stephens-5.5. Drifted in and out of the game. Needs to be more consistant.
Cook-7. Good 1st half. Plays a simple ball and has a good delivery. Faded in the 2nd half but great cross for the decisive 2nd.
Wright Phillips-7. Good movement and never gave up trying. Earned a penalty which 99% of refs would have given.
Kermorgant-7.5. It must have been such a frustrating game for him, due to the ref making it a personal vendetta.

N'Guessan-7. Deserves a score for grabbing the goal to settle 16,000 nerves.

Hamer - 8.5 - Won us the game with a couple of top draw saves - MOTM
    Solly - 8 - Fucking quality
Cort - 7 - Dominated the air and looked more assured when the ball was at his feet
Morrison - 7 - Solid defensively and bought the ball out of defense well
Wiggins - 7 - Blew hot and cold but was there to play the important parts
Wagstaff - 7.5 - Actually cut inside a couple of times with great effect and he got himself a goal. Much better than Green
Hollands - 6.5 - Average, the amount of times he and Stephens trod on each others toes was ridiculous
    Stephens - 6.5 - see Hollands
Cook - 7 - better than his whole previous loan spell with that assist
    Wright Phillips - 6 - Faded badly 2nd half but was O.k
kermorgant - 6.5 - took a battering and did the job
  • Hamer 8 VG all round
Solly 7.5 Unlikely that Orient could've scored a goal like our first with him there
Morrison 7 Looked more solid again
Cort 7.5 Completely justifying his place
Wiggins 8 Back on song. Excellent work for the first goal
Wagstaff 8 Another well-taken goal and worked so hard closing down
Hollands 7.5 Really dug in during the second half lull
Stephens 6.5 Would still lke to see him more advanced but we had 2 orthodox wingers
Cook 7.5 Probably did more than during his entire first spell & superb cross for second
Wright Phillips 6 Nearly scored but seemed to be tiring when subbed
Kermorgant 6 Kept going v robust defending from up to 3 markers

N'Guessan n/a Fine header after sensible substitution
    Green n/a

  • Hamer - 8 much much better than of late
    Solly - 8 usual quality
Morrison - 6.5 maybe prefers Taylor back beside him?
Cort - 7 thought it was a goal from him
    Wiggins - 7 excellent assist
    Wagstaff - 8 MOM
    Hollands - 7
    Stephens - 7
Cook - 7 even better assist, unlucky not to score
Wright Phillips - 6.5 would have marked higher but for Rachubka's save
    Kermorgant - 7 usual warrior

  • Just like to point out (not that it really matters) that my 11 year old posted my marks without me knowing and i think he's been a bit generous overall although i do agree roughly with what he's said if a point were taken off across the board.

Ah! Didn't think you were going soft in your old age.
