aye but last place is usually pretty done and dusted by now.. of course its irrelevant if all three go, I guess if we can close the gap on Wigan and maybe another it will be even more so..
I can think of a closer run in, about two years ago when anyone out of the bottom 4 could have stayed up on the final day of the season..............that's it I don't want to discuss this further. :-(

count yourself lucky you lasted that long , i think we'll be down with 5 games to go;-(
I still maintain (although i accept i am on my own with this) that what really nailed us that day was the fact that pompey simply did not turn up against west brom as they were trying to send the saints down, and that's what finished us.
Although i suppose if we cant beat a CAFC team that were playing in there flip-flops and thinking of there holidays, then we got what we deserved! I am however still bitter ;-)
A ball of true Premiership class from Kishishev to Hughes for the first goal and Fortune's unstoppable header. About the only two things we did in that match but that is the difference between a Premiership and a Championship side:-)
Looks like the whole division- title, Champs league, UEFA cup, and Relegation is going to the wire pretty much this year as the points in various areas are close. Must be most exciting for years?

Its not that tight though, 5th bottom are ten points clear.
Of course, if we win on Saturday, it won't be a sign that we've turned the corner, it'll just be more flak aimed at a hapless Curbs.
Sha la la la la la la la...
