Expect an unchanged team from Tuesday though I would prefer it if we started with the eleven that finished that game, assuming JJ not fit. Tough call but think Hudds may just edge it 2-1. Hope not.
2 1 to us, we take an early lead(Hollands) before they peg us back(Rhodes) leading to the second half of them really going for it in desperate need of the 3 points and us hitting them on the break to win the game(BWP)
Rhodes & Novak have 47 goals between them so Hamer is likely to be busy, but if our mid-field sorts itself out and BWP has his goal scoring boots on I reckon 2-2 will on the cards; possible even an Addicks late winner on the break as Huddersfield keep pressing for the 3 points.
I would like to see us keep it tight. I'd go 4-5-1 and bring in a extra defensive midfielder to sit in front of the back four. Right now, I'd settle for a draw but the first goal will be crucial.
I posted this on the other thread but it's coming on here now.
It's a shame JJ probably won't be playing as I think he comes good in the big games. Knowing the way Chris operates the team will probably be the same as the starting lineup Tuesday. I was surprised, though, that Cook wasn't included anywhere. Maybe he will be somewhere this time.
Needless to say, we need to keep Rhodes quiet and I think we will. 1-0 to us.
This is probably a 'kiss of death' statement but I have feeling we (Huddersfield Town) are going to hit form in this one. We've played well in patches in recent games for very little reward but I've a feeling we'll be focussed and determined enough tomorrow to turn on the style and secure all three points. Not that I underestimate your lads for one second, you don't spend most of the season as top dogs without being a very good side, I just think we will have the bit between our teeth. We were hugely disappointed to lose our last big home game (Sheffield Utd) so I can't see our attitude being anything other than 100% right this time.
Expectation levels at our club have been off the scale at times and I personally feel that's what has brought pressure to our team. The whole Lee Clark affair is evidence of this too, how can you sack a man who's team lost just six games (all comps) in his last sixty seven? That is the measure of how desperate we are to be promoted. Whether Simon Grayson is the man who can see out the job is anyones guess but I do have feeling he'll have us 'well prepared' tomorrow.
Safe journey up the road and have a good (but not too good) a day in Yorkshire!
Not going to be easy (but then what game is nowadays??)................work next to a Huddersfield supporter who thinks that they will win 2-1............I have bet her it will be a draw...........so have gone for 1-1. I will be happy with a point up there. Match thread from 2 pm.
Be interested to see how he lines up with the defences, I thought Cort was excellent Tuesday but there is an argument to bringing back Taylor based on the previous performance against Huddersfield. Be nice to play against a 4 man midfield, would take a draw now and I think this is what were going to get 1-1 Hollands
Completely agree. Taylor kept Rhodes, the most prolific striker in the division by a country mile, quiet at the Valley and his leadership and organisation of the back line is extremely valuable, against the top teams in particular. This run-in is where we need the sort of experience he has and the partnership with Morro is the best in the league.

i would take a draw and it seems everytime i say that we win. just hope the game dosen't turn into a stand off with both teams not daring to lose. should be interesting to see how both teams approach this game with so much at stake. believe the pace and openess of the game depends on how much huddersfield are willing to risk as charlron have the gap to take and point shoot straight back down south with a point and move on to the orient game. hoping this is a good game as huddersfield along with mk dons are the best at passing the ball in the division and that usually suits us as well.
First time I've been 'oop north' for an away game, my away record this season has been 2 wins (bournemouth and Colchester) and 1 draw (mk dons), hoping for a win but personally I can't see past a 2-2 Bwp and Waggy to score for us, should be a good game
I've a gut feeling we will lose this one but the comment by AceTripper sounds very familiar to the comments by some Blades and Owls before we beat them at their place. COYR

But we are still going up
Not saying you won't win (I don't think you will) but this game is going to be a tight one at best.
