  • Hamer 8 Excellent game, made some excellent saves.
Solly 7.5 Tried very hard, good defensively and going forward.
Morrison 5 No communication with Hamer, practically gave them the penalty
    Taylor 6.5
Wiggins 5 Made a few errors and was under pressure from Duffy throughout the first half.
Wagstaff 6 - No end product, scuffed a good chance
Hollands 5 - Gave the ball away far too much
Russell 6 - Didn't offer much at all
Jackson 5 - Poor, looked off the pace and now injured (again)
    Kermorgant 7 - Looked slow
Wright Phillips 7.5 - Scored, great movement throughout.

Green - 6 Should have come on earlier

Hamer 7 Normal service resumed no chance with the pen
    Solly 6.5 Steady eddy
Morrison 5.5 point deducted for schoolboy error trying to pass in the penalty box which led to pen instead of finding row Z
Taylor 7 Normal service resumed handled the awkward Beast that is Parkin well
Wiggins 6 Still not firing on all cylinders sold short by Morrison and barely touched the opponent but pen was given
Wagstaff 7.5 MOM Was up for it great interplay with Solly and cross for BWP goal, missed a sitter from 5 yards though!
Hollands 6 Kept battling gave his all but a few poor passes spoilt it
RussellS 6 Started well some sloppy passes in 2nd half
Jackson 6 Looked fitter today but nothing exceptional went off injured again towards the end
Kermorgant 6.5 Took a nasty bang and cut on the head early on not as effective as usual
Wright Phillips 7 Extra point for the goal great volley finish otherwise was well marshalled and had to feed off scraps

Green - Did ok for the short time he was on
  • Hamer 7 Much better today ,but Morro didn't acknowledge his call for the Pen .Have the defence lost confidence in him ?
    Solly 7 Sound game
Morrison 6 Loses a mark for the Pen
Taylor 7 Stuck to his task well
Wiggins 6 Looked exposed at times .
Wagstaff 7 Good assist ,but missed a sitter
    Hollands 6 Kept at it
Russell 6 Disappointing return to the team gave the ball away too much ,maybe Hughes would be better suited for these games.
Jackson 7 Excellant set plays .Not fit ,looked to be limping when subbed .Need to keep him fit for run in.
Kermorgant 7 Took some brutal treatment .Always does his defensive duties for the team
Wright Phillips 7 Well taken goal

Green Maybe will be better if an impact sub ,will come into the team again.

  • Hamer 8 saved our point. Nerve wracking foray and mis- kick outside the area is forgiven.
Solly 7 not as imposing as he has been. Marking a big fat beast in Thompson.
Morro 6 had a hard game but he is still a good player
Taylor 6 knew he had been in a game.
Wiggins 5 worst I have seen from him. What was wrong?
Waggy 6 plenty of energy but overhit too many passes in good positions
Hollands 6 outnumbered and needed better support.
Russell 5 good early on but poor 2nd half. Caught in possession too often.
Jackson 6 sound but not imposing, appears to be less than fully fit.
Kermorgant 6 tough physical game that for once he couldn't dominate in the air.
BWP 7 pretty good game in view of the limited service. Good goal.

Generally some low individual player marks.

Did so many players really put in poor personal performances over the 90 minutes?

i'd like to think they did otherwise we'd have hammered em

If they did it would be par for how they've been playing recently. It's great that BWP is coming back into scoring form but a pity that nearly every one of our other players who had done so well earlier in the season seem to have hit a patch of poor form at the same time - especially central midfield and the previously solid defence.

All depends how you mark Oggy because there is no set scale. For me 1= should never play the game again, 2= absolute stinker, 3= very poor, 4= poor, 5= below average, 6=average, 7= good, 8= very good, 9= excellent, 10= oustanding / superman!

I had one player Morrison at 5.5, three players at 7 and Waggy MOM at 7.5 the rest were 6 or above. So overall a slightly better than average performance by the team. I can't speak for the other lifers' marks but hope this helps you understand my take on yesterday's proceedings.

Broadly agree with that marking scale, Deadread.
Marks 4 to 10 exactly the same as my own.

Mmmm...don't share your view on this.
Only did one decent thing the whole 90 minutes as far as I'm concerned and over hit at least 4 passes down the channel when players were overlapping on good runs (had Dyer leaping around on the touchline in frustration on more than one occassion due to this)....thought he had a somewhat below par game....6 is being generous but as he helped set up our goal I'll give him a 'generous' 6.
