There has long been a tendency to write our youngsters up as the next Messi whereas, in reality, they may scrape a first team place at Ebbsfleet if lucky!

However running Man U as close as we did recently indicates that there must be some ability and I (and possibly others) would be interested in an objective assessment of the future prospects of these players from regular youth spectators.

He'll do alright I recon. Fair few of the list above will play Conference-L1. You can never predict how high a level someone will reach at this age unless they have the rare 'brilliance' of a Messi/Rooney etc. Fingers crossed that a few will get to champs or higher
