  • Don't have figures for assists but Waggy has scored 4 to Green's 2 and has had 2 yellows to Greens 6

I think Green has actually had 8 yellows...

I took the stats from the CAFC website although I mistyped and Green should have had 3 goals.

The programme could be wrong then because that said 8 yellows recently for Green.
  • Both players have their strengths and weaknesses, are either good enough for the Championship?
  • Not sure how up to date the OS is so could be right, although in that case it wouldn't have included Waggy's goal from Saturday.
  • Hmm, Waggy vs Green. Not sure this has been covered before.

Different sorts of players, both good L1 standard. Not sure what type of fridge Waggy has.
  • Maybe Valleystorm2000 knows?
  • Waggy definitely has a freezer as he was frozen out for long enough

    :-)
  • If only, then we could put this whole argument to bed

Can't we just make the 2 players into 1, and call him Greenstaff.

Would be a really decent player.
  • Waggy did more in 80 minutes than the Beckham wannabe has done in 6 months

1 decent cross a game is clearly good enough for some...
I'm not anti Waggy but I'm certain Green has possibly done slightly more than than that.

Have to agree on the second one. Green looked like one of our more posing threats when he first joined the club, constant delivery into the box usually from midfield he just seems to be stuttering at the moment with any sort of fluidity on the ball.

Put Waggy on the starting XI and bring Green on second half as impact/fresh legs to work the other teams defence. Both do a great job in position but perhaps Green is struggling slightly playing at this level?

Or maybe Green is another that has been carrying an injury these past few games, and not really fit?
  • I love it when Green thunders a ball against the crossbar, or puts in an awesome cross/corner. He just doesn't do it enough. You cannot argue with Waggy's goalscoring, defending, workrate. OK he whinges too much, doesn't cross well enough, etc etc.

I just do not understand how he dropped out of contention so fast. I hope he takes his opportunity, unfortunately I don't necessarily think it will matter if he does. Green promised a lot but hasn't really delivered enough in my opinion.

I think we are lucky to have the luxury of 2 very good right sided players, and if we didn't people wouldn't be arguing about it, nice headache for SCP to have.....unlike our left side of midfield where there is no natural cover.

I suppose the countless assists mean nothing....set up the brentford and exeter goals also put in the cross that lead to bmouth goal plus many others,do you actually watch games?...back on the subject i hope waggy does get more chances he played well sat and deserves more game time.
