Well done, Waggy, whose return to favour was one of the few bright points. Pressure for places is what we need if we're going to keep focussed over the last eight weeks of the season and not start thinking the job is already done.
I'd go Waggy, Green was taking his position for granted, Waggy looked very lively after coming on and is praying for a good chance.. Greens good for one thing in my eyes, a dead ball specialist.. tackling etc. he's not for me.
So as was captured unflatteringly on camera on another thread, i printed out the cumulative scores sheet and showed them to CP. I explained to him by taking the average scores every game, its a good comparison to see if it matches up to what you feel the PotY should be.
He found it really interesting and had a good read of it, and thankfully was broadly in agreement. He felt there was no surprises in three of the top four, but was a bit (pleasantly) surprised the supporters had Morrison so high. He said that never used to enjoy playing on the left of a pairing, but was really keen to come here and its worked out really well.
He also seemed pleased that the supporters appear to rate Yann so highly. He tapped his pen on his name and said he'd really been in two minds about that one. He then went on to say all the things which he repeated in the 2nd half when asked a question about Yann (see other thread).
