No, I work for Howarth Timber. The reason Elfsborg mentions trainline because it gathers all the information for the various rail companies throughout our network. Thus negating having to trawl through each company one by one

Elfsborg also play in the top Swedish league. Matt Svensson went back there when he finished in the UK
Yes, I used to live in Boras(town Elfsborg play in) three years ago, hence the name. Used to follow Elfsborg home/away. Svensson comes from the town and is considered a god there by the guliganerna, the supporters group(no hooligan connection, just their name). Met him a couple of times and is a top geezer.

Not on the pitch he wasn't. But you're right, what little contact I had with him he seemed a good bloke. Signed a shirt for us in Byske in 2001
Is Elfsborg a "suburb" of Borås then? Never struck me as being big enough to require suburbs

No, Elfsborg play in an area called Sjobo, which is in Boras, the population of the town is apprx. 60K with the overall population being 100K. The fella is minted, he has a travel company that organises breaks to England and, amongst other things, covering tickets for the theatre, sporting events etc.
On the way up there split it at Birmingham to make it cheaper, can get £3.95 (London Midland) or £8 (Virgin) up to Brummy then £9.25 to Preston taking 1hr 3mins, all with a YP Railcard
Its fooking expensive now...I managed to get to Carlisle for £22.40 with a YP Railcard (with £5 off voucher) and thats 2 weeks before Preston, god knows what it will be like in a week or so.
Also found 08:43 Euston >> 10:08 Brummy (£7.25 with YP Card, £11 without) 10:20 Brummy >> 11:51 Preston (£11.20 with YP Card, £17 without) if anyone fancies a diversion..it adds on about 45mins more but saves you a f*ck load so its a win win

I was just curious as you always mention it.
Looks to be £66 for me. Rubbish.
I wasn't having a dig!
