The Run-in

Handy Table

  • Sheff Utd will come good

    :-)
  • why are some in yellow?? Thought was home/away but obviously not
  • Looks reasonable - we only have 2 games against highlighted teams in the current top 10. Wednesday have 5 and Sheff Utd have 3.
  • Yellow is the current top 10.

Ahhh thanks, I did think maybe it was top 6, then realised Carlise weren't top 6

  • Not a bad run-in in theory. Most (80%) of our opponents are in the bottom half of the table but not necessarily in a relegation battle. Hopefully won't have too much to play for when they come up against us (fingers crossed!)
  • Looking at that Hudders and Wednesday have some tough games in the run in.
  • Doesn't really matter where our opponents are in the division as I don't think there's a huge gap between top and bottom in terms of quality. Four or five more wins and we're up - all down to the character of our players.
  • Totally irrelevant I know but if we had won our last two games I think we would already be celebrating by lighting up a fat cigar in the North Upper bogs.

As long as we're not their bluddy Cup Final ....!

  • No season has 3rd placed team in League One finished with more than 87 points.

Promotion is 3 wins and a draw away - and then we're home (if you know what I mean!)
