He's adjusted brilliantly to league football - and now Addicks midfielder Bradley Pritchard has been nominated for an international award.
After playing for Hayes & Yeading United last season, the 26-year-old is a regular member of the Addicks squad seeking promotion to the Championship.
And now Pritchard needs fans' votes after being shortlisted for the International Sports Personality at the Zimbabwean Achievers Awards, which is a celebration of talent, art, business, expression and achievement in the Zimbabwean community.
The special awards ceremony, which will be held at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London on Saturday, April 28th - the same day Charlton are away at Preston North End - seeks to recognise Zimbabweans who have pushed the limits to do both themselves and their fellow countrymen proud.
Pritchard is up against four other nominees in the shape of swimmer Kirsty Coventry, England basketball coach Creon Raftopolous, athlete Ngoni Makusha and rugby player Takudwa Ngwenya.
The versatile midfielder has made 18 appearances in all competitions so far for Charlton in 2011/12, and he has scored once, in the 4-0 win at FC Halifax Town in the first round of the FA Cup in November.

They couldn't even spell his name properly!
I do like him. He seems such a nice, happy fellow.
I really like Bradley, but he's made a handful of appearances in the third tier of English Football. Kirsty Coventry is a current world record holder, and seven times Olympic medalist (and current Olympic champion) !
