Wouldn't hit anyone with my handbag.

Everything but the kitchen sink in it...weighs a ton !
Seriously my wife's great aunt who lived near the Elephant & Castle used to carry half a house brick in her hand bag all the time.
  • I walked out because ElthamAddick walked out, what kind of example is he setting us younger ones?
    Younger one's ??
    Someone's telling fibs !!

  • It's too late to apologise........
    It's too late
Quite right Randy. I should be tucked up in bed with a hot cup of Ovaltine. :)

  • Someone's had too much Haribo.
    Nothing wrong with Haribo :-0

    Just say Solly someone....

  • Who on earth is this "Jack charlton".?
  • Don't you worry yourself about who I am mate!!!
  • Oh dear, six-a-bag-of-nuts, quite a statement calling your own fans plastic w@nkers
  • Should re name this handbags in this thread!
    LOL

    Yes I see that now.
Classic irony starting a thread about handbags and provoking the same with my own ill judged insult.
Is it really too late to say sorry?

  • Who on earth is this "Jack charlton".?
I gather he's a man with strong feelings from his use of exclamation marks!!!

Six bag of nuts I assume you will be at Glanford Park?

What the hell is it to anyone else who does what after they have paid their way in provided it is not breaking the law?

The only thing plastic about me is the tailspin I put my mastercard in every week watching Charlton.

Amazing how some peoples priorities after watching that are digging out people who didnt want to watch any more or who needed a beer if they were going to carry on doing so.

No abuse of players on twitter, no booing, no aversion to going beyond the m25 but what do you know I am a plastic wanker.

  • Think he must have been the same bloke that was calling any supporter with an opinion every name under the sun, hand gesturing to the north stand and giving the old boy stick. You really seem a nice bloke - not.

Isaw, this is an issue that obviously polarises opinion and had the makings of a good debate if I hadn't spoiled it by my childish insult for which I am genuinely now sorry.
I still don't get people leaving but that's just me.
  • Clive Mendonca - I'm an old boy myself so no you got that wrong
  • Karim... he must know I have real issues with the !!!!

Ol Jack... I'm not your mate. Anyway don't mean to go off topic.. which was what?
  • Fair enough mate apology accepted

In my opinion, we all do our own bit to be the fans that we are, we just have to accept that everyone's definition of "fan" or "supporter" are their own definition and there is no checklist of 10 things you must do in order to make that bracket.

Whether it's having a season ticket, being VG, buying merchandise, going to 5/10/15/all away games per season we are all the fans according to our own judgement. That should be good enough.

    Enough now.
I made a stupid comment at the end of my initial post which has upset some genuine fans like Isaw and others.
    For that I sincerely apologise.
There are also some poisonous undertones in some posts so I am removing myself from further input and editing it out to avoid provoking newcomers to the thread.
That'll teach me to engage brain before fingers.

Sorry happened for other teams, ac Milan vs LFC, tottenham vs arsenal couple of seasons ago
I thought you were gonna tell us you were at the 7-6 Huddersfield game for a minute!
21 December 1957, 1-5 down 10 men, 27 minutes to go, 5 goals by Messi Summers..............so you never know.
Remember it like it was yesterday, my first Charlton game, quite a few left that game early, too.

He called his fans plastic w@nkers?

Well thats it, first thing tomorrow morning im cancelling my fan club membership.
  • I always preferred Bobby anyway.
  • I find the decision to leave with 5 mins to go stranger than leaving at half time.

  • Blinding piece of camera work - superb use of zoom facility, and as for the commentary? Well surely we have the next Guy Ritchie on our hands?
Posting this crap on youtube, and thinking others might be interested in it, just shows what utter boring sad little lives most of us lead.
    Nice ''Oi's'' though
