  • Yes

Have a family and Children they come before anything football related Bills need paying
  • No chance. The psychological complications would be very damaging.
How can anyone work for an institution they detest?
  • @leftbehind no one said you can't get another job!
  • Constant vomiting induced by the surroundings would probably make doing the job a bit too difficult, so no.

Not that easy in the present climate

  • Nothing works at palarse.
  • Yes.

Have they got a vacancy for a 5th columnist?
  • would they pay you though!
  • Would never work for Palace, Millwall or Big Tobacco
  • I'd take the Managers job at Chelski :) think of the money :)

  • I wouldn't. Nor the spanners. If you value the skills you have, then working for someone is an investment. Could never invest myself in that mess.
    Agree with that

Used to hate getting emails from KBslittlesis.

They were fine till you got to the end and there was the bloody logo.

Sure she did it on purpose ; - )
  • I turned down at job at Fortnum & Mason as the guy who was gonna be my boss was Palace. That was 20 years ago but I just couldn't bear working with one of them.
  • When I had my own business and did the interviews I used to ask which team they supported.

Needless to say no palarse supporter ever worked for me until I handed the interviews over to somebody else.

A bloke did come to work for me who supported palarse and I did tell him he would never have got the job if I had done the interview.
  • A definate no

I used to have my contents insurance with Churchill. Once they sponsored the feathered ones I cancelled the policy!

They were the cheaper option when I renewed my car insurance recently, I paid a tenner more and went elsewhere. ; )

I love to. Move over Freedman, I'm in charge of the first team now.

  • Yes, but not when that wrong-un Jordan run them. They were well known for screwing over small businesses, and not paying them, and his brother was supposed to be an absolute moron who thought he did business like Carling in Scum.

  • Charlton should employ only one palace fan at a time - with a 'Wicker Man' style re-enactment.....

....or re-engineer them into Charlton supporters - 'Stepford Wives' style by making them watch the DVD of the '98 Play-off final over and over.
  • Love to be their fd - would deffo send them bankrupt
  • absolutely not....no way.
  • I'd be their Administrator.
  • You do what's best for you and your family, a shit job is better than no job. However, once there, it's everyman's duty to escape.

    Snap.

Not sure I could with Millwall though.
  • I couldnt/wouldnt for either.
  • In my opinion you would be better working for a club you don't support than one you do. Imagine losing at the weekend then going into work on Monday and having to face it all again. Granted this season it might be a joy but what about working there on a relegation season?
Better to not be emotionally involved in your work unless you own it.
  • No problem working for Palace. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't got a professional bone in their body. Unless the employer did something that i found utterly uncoscionable (I'd find it difficult to work for the tobacco industry, for instance - and not sure I'd run the IT infrastructure of the Norwegian Whaling Commission) then I'd have no issue working for them, and would give it my all every minute i was employed by them.
  • I would as long as I could play in goal ;o)
