I know we have still got a long way to go, and I'm not suggesting we have won anything yet, but if we do win the league before the last home game of the season, or away, will the trophy be presented there, or definitely on the last home game, 5th May vs Hartlepool??

  • Been asked on other threads and the consensus is that it will be presented on the last home game of the season, assuming it's been won outright by then.
No official word from CAFC official though. It would be a massive scam if they sold all those tickets and then presented the trophy the week before wouldn't it?
  • Cheers, yeah I know, thinking of getting whole family to go, but bit of a waste if they don't present it there, ( presuming we do win the league!)
  • Are they saying that the trophy will be presented at the last game of the season? If not how can a cheap ticket offer be a massive scam?
  • trophy presentation is at your last home game, regardless of when you win the league, there are a couple of versions of the nPower divisional trophies in the unlikely event it goes that far.

If it's the last home game. I'm there. No matter the cost I wanna see us lift that trophy high and proud :)
  • What happens if you don't win it till the last game & you're away? They'd have to present it at the away ground....good job we haven't got any 'rivals' in this league...
  • When we won the Championship 1999-2000 we became League Champions away at Blackburn and the Trophy was presented at the last home game v Ipswich. Worry not !
  • Are they saying that the trophy will be presented at the last game of the season? If not how can a cheap ticket offer be a massive scam?
It's not in the best interests of the club to I've the trophy at anything other than a full house. If the club have any say in it I would imagine they would choose the last game so that. As many as possible can see it.
  • When we win in mathematically we can celebrate without the trophy - yes best if we have it presented at the last game -make a real occasion of it.
