Why are people still arguing with Wednesday fans??

They did start giving us credit, but now their saying our money has won us the league. They have sort of back tracked on the credit. But, I think our fans should stop trying to convince them that we haven't spent millions. Who cares?? Let's just enjoy the success and if we want a discussion, lets talk which one of the 9 fantastic players have been the best this season, which win has been the best, which goal was the best. Let's concentrate on us, forget them, their not a threat!

    Agreed. It was quite a nice thread to read before it was hijacked. Couldn't see the point.

    Thought it couldn't last. I do care as I want others to know just what a good eye for a player SCP has and how we have operated. And that we have NOT just gone out and bought the league - it takes away some of the credit the club/board/team deserve

    I care as well but I think the point is that they do get that we haven't spent millions and, even when told, won't admit it. Pointless in continuing to argue imo. Just feeding in to what they want.

    There only giving us credit now because they now look like a bunch of muppets after what they said.

    If we don't go up were screwed because of our wage bill

    Charlton will have a blip and Hudders and wendesday will go up in autos

    Powell is in experienced and after buying over 20 players it's not going to work out for them

    Then when we done them we were cheats, bullies, spoilers etc. There still a bunch of muppets but there being nice muppets

    Why do you say 9 players cafcfan? Which two don't you rate then? It's more than 11 actually because those who came in ( Hughes, Pritchard etc) did well too.

    They claim they're the team of the future. So that must make them Sheffield Thursday.

    Although at the moment they must feel more like Sheffield Sunday, with that sinking fear of the Monday morning wake-up call!

    Why do people say "they" as if there's some single representative entity? Supporters on both sides say stupid things, based on guesswork and not being too bright. If some Charlton fan starts speculating wildly about the salaries of both squads based on zero knowledge it's not something that represents me in any way or anyone other than a select band of low IQ fantasists. I'm sure there's a lot of Wendies that find the whole thing equally infantile. Ignore, it's not something that affects "us".

    for me, 9 players have been consistently fantastic all season and deserve the most praise - Hamer, the whole defence, Hollands, Jackson, BWP, Kermy. I have been impressed with Green, Stephens, Hughes and Pritchard at times, but they havent been as good as the other 9 IMO. These 9 have been playing pretty much all season, Stephens is class but at the moment, I wouldnt say he has been fantastic because of the injury, but may have been come the end of the season. I even believe the likes of Cort, Evina and Haynes could be great but the fact that we have barely had to make changes in impressive. The season we went down under Pardew/Parky was were we used a record number of players (not sure exactly how many) and it never worked. The team was always changing and the amount of loans was ridiculous, this year we have been lucky with injuries and got a settled side together. I think its very rare where a set of supporters nearly almost agree on he best 11 but I think we would all pretty much pick the team that started v Chesterfield. Credit to SCP. Fantastic summer he had last year

    i think it makes it even more impessive that they had to learn each others NAMES never mind their game!
