Whenever we score we don't lose

edited February 2012 in General Charlton
Has anybody else noticed that whenever we score we don't lose. 5 games lost in total so far: Stevenage (away) 0-1, Leyton Orient (away) 0-1, Preston (home) 0-2, Brentford (home) 0-3,
Fulham (away) 0-4.
In other words whenever we score we don't lose (so far)

  • Amazing to think we have only lost 5 times since August!

We still don't lose as we have still scored the same number of goals as the opposition - nil, Do keep up.

Pretty sure that would be a draw, chief

  • Have you noticed 3 times this season we have taken the lead and not gone on to win the match.

  • Is that 6 times ?
  • and have you noticed that both League games we have lost both opposition teams have two e's in name Stevenage, Leyton Orient so we should therefore beat Tranmere Rovers as they have 3 e's, provided we score first
  • I have also noticed that since 2009 we have never lost a league game as long as the year is a leap year

That's about as good as Huddersfield's spin during their unbeaten run.
  • I've also noticed that when the other team fail to score, they never win.

Seriously, it is a decent point by Billmo - and one ignored every week in the pre-match ''news, views and predictions'' thread by those who regularly predict we will lose 2-1!
  • Thanks for saying that 'incorruptible addick'

    I make 'Stevenage' 3 e's not 2 as you've stated
  • "Stevanage" ?

  • ....and when we don't score we DO lose. All draws have been scoring draws.
  • and have you noticed that both League games we lost 1-0 to deflected goals............
