STATBANK: Charlton 2-1 MK Dons plus the PROMOMETER

Back after our winter break with a new set of stats.
Many thanks to the 59 Lifers who game marks. Now I know it is a few weeks since you have done this marking lark but please try and mark all the players who don't have "n/a" by their name, young Haynes was missed by 23 of you.
I also have to own up to a mistake in that for the Bury game Hamer's average mark was too high, so instead of going up this week it has gone down - sorry.
Finally it may show 54 goals scored on the main page of player accumulative stats but don't forget that Ephraim scored one and is shown on a different page.

  • amazing really that we are 19 points ahead of what saints were on last season allbeit having played one more! just shows how well we are doing
  • Great work LL. Usually I am at the games so I just look at this because it is interesting to see but I couldn't make it due to it being Valentine's Day. It helps you build up an image of who played well and who didn't.

One minor mistake is he spelling of Stavrinou :-)
  • Thanks as usual. Just about every stat avaiable seems to point towards promotion now.
  • Thanks LL

Last season Bournemouth got 6th with 71 points. Amazing that we are just 4 points away from that with 17 games to go.
  • Great stuff.
One minor point -how has Wiggo gone above YK on average scores, when he scored worse this game?
  • Many thanks; never a great one with figures myself but a little puzzled why Solly and Wiggins move above Kermorgant in the cumulative when he scored a higher average on Tuesday

Wiggins average over 29 games, Yann over 19 so greater portion of game counts

An interesting thing is that despite what lots of people have said about needing a record number of points to go up this year - if you take us out of the equation with our massive points total to date, the season before last the challenging teams were stronger points wise than they are now. That season eventually saw Norwich win it with 95 pts, Leeds came second with 86, Millwall got 85, we got 84, Swindon got 82 and Huddersfield 80.
