I haven't watched this in years! The last time I did (and decided never to bother again) was the culmination of some long running story. It was outside the Queen Vic and there was a realisation by one character (I've forgotten the names!) that another girl stood over the other side of the road was her long lost daughter. In true Eastenders happy style, instead of a tearful embrace, as she stepped into the road to meet her mum a car happened to come hurtling around the corner and wiped her out. Almost as ridiculous as dirty den returning from the dead! The programme is just so detached from reality.

That was Ronnie Mitchell's (Samantha Womack's nee Janus) long lost daughter Danielle mowed down by Janine Butcher...............according to my other half, honest :-0
Seems a long time ago I commissioned and designed this .......... (4 years) And of course the story line's seem to get more absurd with each passing episode. Of course compared to the story lines of Coronation Street currently in the middle of one character accused of murdering her drunk husbands girl friend, and having lost her baby, that she did not want, then did?. Her brother having bumped the said girl friend off, having just got engaged to another woman who has killed someone in a previous storyline, the sister of the bounder who is the drunk who the street think is guilty but is not!....... ( are you keeping up). I suppose the 'dramatic licence' that the producers would say is an 'essential requirement' otherwise the audience would lose interest!. Perhaps I should do a cover like this on CAFC for the 'trust news' summing up the past few years...... Just have a think...... the pitch fiasco, the selling of the club to a foreign buyer who owns 5 clubs, the coming and goings of management/staff ,will or will we not be moving to the Peninsular, are we going bankrupt etc etc......

Make not be as exciting but couldn't make the programme any worse.
I mean, regardless of who you are, you can be murdered, raped, beaten, robbed from by absolutely anyone without any fear of stereotyping...
