The club mentioned that a win tomorrow will equal our current record of away wins in a season. This is true - as Shirty5 pointed out recently we won 12 games away in the 1999/00 season - but another total worth mentioning is the number of points gained so far this season. It is already the eighth highest points total in our history and a win against Chesterfield will take it past our 1991/92 total of 65. I can already hear you saying Ah yes, but back in the black and white days you only got 2 points for a win. This is true, but all the other totals are from 38 or more games and so far we've only played 28.
10 more wins will see us not only pass our own record points haul (91 in 1999/00) but also go 1 ahead of that lot from New Cross's record.
