i was just wondering if anyone else here collects art and ifso, what kind of stuff are you into ? I started off with Banksy while at uni and am now moving to urban contemporary kind of works. Here are a couple I own..

I love art , I got two boxes stuffed full of Charlton programmes, they should go in the loft really, but can't bear for them to be Out of sight, out of mind.
Seriously would love to have a nice collection of paintings , but never had the finances to do it.

Cheers, I dont drive and rarely drink as I cant paint on a hangover so this is my only vice... well that and collecting Charlton shirts

I've really got into old sculptures over the past couple of years and have one or two. Garden's a bit too small for them but it saves me cutting the grass around them if nothing else.

I've got a collage by a Bahamian artist called Antonious Roberts who is fairly well known in those parts (I used to live there). It's in the shipping container with my family's stuff which is on it's way to the UK right now.
I've just purchased an original painting by Alan Bean (the 4th man on the moon) who has become a renowned artist. Each of his paintings contains a fraction of moon dust and his motif is an Apollo boot print. I am fascinated by the space program and also have a lot of books and biographies (the best, in my opinion, being Michael Collins').0 -

There's an artist I really like called John Greenwood - like a sort of modern cross between Tanguy and Kay Sage - abstract surrealism. He never seemed to get any respect after a brief bit of exposure from Saatchi's patronage and disappeared off the face of the earth. If I had ten grand to spare I'd commission him to paint me a piece.
Naturally, I also like Kay Sage and Yves Tanguy, and Dali of course. Bosch & Bruegel are fantastic, along with Max Ernst and Joan Miro.
Sadly, all the artists I like are somewhat out of my price range!0 -

Got loads of good quality work, mainly war art, I have a collection of A3 sized pencil drawings of Spitfire v Me109's over the Kent countryside, personally signed by the artists various 'Few' and various Band of Brothers paintings signed by the real chaps.
But my personal favourite is my collection of 17th and 18th century Japanese samurai art, I have a beautiful Triptiach framed in my living room. Beautiful!0 -
My youngest sons paintings adorn the kitchen walls from age 1 up to 12 the best involves a teachers comment in red saying 'but where is the goat ?'0
