I'm sorry to say this but due to the unforeseen successful season so far, there has not been enough of the expected poor performances/results from the team and i'm concerned that soon there will be nothing football related to complain about at all!
Mr Powell, "if you're reading this, can you have a word with the squad and encourage them to draw a few more games and maybe throw in the odd defeat, just so the moaners have something to get their teeth into." Thankyou.
Its a blog though isnt it, not a paid journo writing a story
lots of young aspiring journos write blogs as a foothold into the profession, if its a shite poorly written blog then everyone will see it for what it is, including the people the bloggers are trying to impress,
but by removing the opportunity to Blog by having a major editorial control over how a blogger percieves his thoughts and written word is a step backwards
It no longer becomes a blog
i think that Matt makes some vaild points but also some shite ones
And can I make a 'fession? I never read links posted on here. If people can't be bothered to post the whole thing then why should I? So, I haven't even read the blog.
But the thread it's very entertaining. Thank you xx

Amusing that you accuse people of being lazy for not posting the whole article whilst yourself being too lazy to click on a link. Maybe save some energy from typing a response to a blog you haven't read and in a few hours time you might muster up the strength to click on the link.
everyone is welcome on this site so stop with the stupid remarks and leave me alone! white, black, fat, thin, tall and short everyone is welcome on this site and there is no place for bully's like you in society!
a2c?
does seem similar although would have expected 'ubris' to have been thrown in.

Bully................
Everyone is welcome on this site!!!11one!!eleven!!
Both Henry & valleystorm are quiet today, I think they have "connected" I just hope if Valleystorm is waiting under the clock in the Glades Henry does not stand him up.
If they're writing blogs, why don't they just start a blog? Why would you put a blog on a newspaper website if it's not to increase traffic to your site and increase advertising? You even come on here and use Charlton Live to generate hits. If you are making money from it I would have though the very least you would want to do is ensure that the facts are correct, or have someone proof read it, or am I missing something?
I only post the links of reports or stories on here, not the fan blogs. We've only really started doing blogs this season where a fan from each of our clubs gives their views each week. like I say before, if it isn't your cup of tea and you don't like it then ignore completely.
Shame on you... either take responsibility and support the people who write for you, particularly when they do it for free...or don't print the article / blog/ column/ opinion piece...it's your decision, you are the Sports Editor

Great idea. Maybe you could let us all know what each link is for then only the impression that this thread gives is that the local newspaper is printing a quote from a club source. If it had said please click on this link for a blog that has no official club involvement then we would have known what to expect.
I do understand marketing, but your thread headings are often misleading, and this one was obviously only used to increase traffic.
I'm not suggesting you censor the blog, merely give the chap pointers to prevent factual errors, especially when you are going to splash it on Charlton Life to generate advertising revenue.

It wasn't me who posted the link to the blog on here, that was valleystorm200.
I only post links of reports/stories about Charlton and usually just use the headline as the thread title here so hopefully that gives people a rough idea of what the link is about.

It's tooooooo late

The problem is , why didn't he write the story last season when people WERE moaning ? It's a negative piece that is a season too late.
